Sadly only one word is needed to describe this new lounge at disney. Take it away stone cold.

FYI, it just changed back to the previous version of the page along with it mentioning the closure.

Honest question...
Does Epcot really need a DVC lounge? Are there not enough places in Epcot to sit and "recharge?"
Are these lounges busy? Even if I had DVC, I don't think I'd say, "lets go take a break in the DVC Lounge"

This taking 4+ months to complete is crazy. Hoping it will be back up in 3 weeks when we go, we enjoy sitting down and getting free drinks and charge the phones for 10-15 minutes

I know they do these because they don't want to spend money on anything else. But this needs to stop. All the spaces inside the parks need to be open to all guests.

It was nice to sit in air conditioning, recharge phones and have a (free) drink and snacks.
We waited maybe 15 minutes to go up.
Aside from the free drinks and snacks...(which could essentially be done at any quick service place by showing ID), doesn't Communicore Hall offer that same thing?
That's prime real estate in a pavilion that's being utilized for essentially very few to give them a free drink and some AC.

But it’s a perk given to “eligible” DVC members. Paid for by DVC marketing, as it’s seen as a nice incentive to would-be buyers.

If Disney had any viable plans for the space they’d turf DVC out (and maybe offer them another space). As it is they get paid “rent” for what would otherwise be an empty space.

You know what's funny?

Seats and a couple drinks. What an amazing perk...

Sometimes it’s the little things that count. I’ve used it on both hot and cold days and it’s nice to be able to sit in a comfy seat, chill for a bit and cool down / warm up. I wouldn’t trek over from the Germany pavilion just to use it but in passing it’s a nice option to have.

And the views are amazing!

I would prefer an attraction(s), in an already decimated part of Epcot...
