this hole idea sounds fun, myfamily just plays drink around the world.

Maybe try to see who can ride the most rides in the shortest amount of time, or maybe do a scavenger hunt and have the cast members help you verify that you did everything and at what time.

Good luck and have fun with it.

I surprised my husband with this for his birthday. We had soooo much fun. I will not spoil it for you and tell you what we did. It was great!! :sohappy::sohappy: It's my husband's favorite show too. He is a firefighter and has applied for the show with another firefighter. He is applying again for the next one.

Have fun!!! :)

Listen up Disneyfan, you better bring your A-game because our team is gonna win! LOL, should be lots of fun!

My sources have yet to confirm if "Beverly" is involved or not, but I agree it absolutely should be.

My sources have revealed that your team (of more than a dozen teams) is the early odds on favorite in Vegas (a.k.a. the far side station). I dispute the oddsmakers.

As for a team name, how about "Team Number 2", as in 2nd place.

You Better Bring IT! because you know I will leave you in the DUST!!!!!!!!! After all, everyone know the LANDBOATRIDE just ain' as fun as it used to be with its pre-recorded spiel! Can you say DOWN GRADE!

As to everyone else thank you so much for all the ideas! Now I'm having a hard time choosing which one!

Me and my team mate have picked our name which is actually a combination of several ideas from you guys so thank you for all of your suggestions!

Since there is a spy among our mist I'm afraid you will have to wait for my trip report to find out what our team name is! Also if there is any photoshop gods willing to help make a logo you would be in my debt forever!

Just one park? Try a Race that span all four parks, Downtown Disney and about half the hotels...
Thus was the "RADP Great Race" held during the annual RADP/MouseFest weekend in December (the Race was last held in 2005). There was also an earlier incarnation that was simply an all-day scavenger hunt where you planned your own route from the Start to the Finish Line...

During the final year of the Hunt before it became the Race, there was a mid-day meet in Epcot for bonus points. Teams were made up of 4 people. You were given a list of objects to be retrieved from around the park and brought back. Each team started with 300 bonus points, and for each minute elapsed, 10 points were subtracted until you returned with all the objects (or half an hour passed, after which the points had dwindled to zero). The catch was that the 4-person teams were tied together and had to travel as a group to get the items, but you could "break" some or all of the bonds by eating/drinking food provided which was for sale in the park. They were 10 wasabi peas, 3 pieces of dried fish (both from Japan) and an 8oz cup of Beverly. I'm VERY glad that two of my teammates were able to get those down so we were able to split up. I don't remember everything we had to get, but they included a hot sauce packet from Mexico's fast food counter, a colored plastic knife from any fast food place, a Kidcot mask from Canada, and a Save the Tiger card from the UoE exit. (My team finished that challenge first, BTW, turning in all objects in under 8 minutes.)

This is a pretty cool idea. I hope you come back after next week with pictures and tell us all how it went.

For those of you who are big fans of The Amazing Race and watched the season that just finished and also have a facebook account, you should look up Nicholas Fulks and nicely ask to be his friend. Nick from team Nick and Don has posted some really detailed accounts of the first 2 legs of the race and I think anyone who is a fan of the show will find them pretty interesting. He doesn't use the best of language and can be pretty harsh on his fellow racers but it's nice to get a first hand account of how things really happen and learn some of the behind the scenes aspects of the race that we never hear about.

OK, you need to post and tell us all what was involved. There is a group of 15 of us going in may and we were joking about doing an amazing race, so would love to see what you did.

I'm glad you've decided on a name; however, it'd be a shame to not be named either the "Fifth Gaters" or "Fire Mountain Volunteers"....then again, "Dole Whip Warriors" wouldn't be terrible either......

Too bad my suggestions have nothing to do with EPCOT....maybe y'all should have a park-hopper amazing race...

my 2 cents...
