Epcot - a new meaning lol

When we were on our disneymoon in october, we came back one night to the boardwalk to head to bed and bumped into a very nice CM, he noticed our wedding hats and sadi congratulations and asked how our day had been, i said its been really fun but long! I asked how his day had been and he said good but busy he was helping with some event at the hotel, i asked what he did and he said he was a catering manager (cant remember the exact phrase he used lol) Anywho he said i guess you have been to epcot today and we said yes, how you know! Well he says, you know what Epcot stands for dont you? Of course i told him and he went well it stands for something else... Every Person Comes Out Tired lol We laughed and said thats how you knew we were there lol. We chatted a bit more and he went a different way to our room, he was very nice though! Anyone else heard this before?:wave:

A number of years ago, before the Circle of Life film in the Land. Before the CM started up the show, he was entertaining the (sparse) audience by throwing out some Disney Trivia questions. I quite proudly answered the question "does anyone know what EPCOT stands for", only to be told that it really means "Every Person Comes Out Tired". :lol:

Oh yes! We got the alternate meaning when we were kids (back in the 80s :lookaroun) riding the tram back out to the parking lot. It's still true and just as funny! :lol:

It was more of a common phrase back before AK, when we learned what true walking was required at a Disney theme park. Back then Epcot seemed huge...AK seems huge, but empty at the same time. Go figure.

I;ve heard "Every Person Comes Out Tired" and "Employee Paychecks Come Out Tuesdays" both from bus drivers.
