Epcot 35th Anniversary

Do you think anything will happen or be celebrated in 2017? Or do you think they will be focusing on how Pandora, Rivers of Light & the nightime show holds up for AK and just toss it to some minor Merchandising again?

I think it won't be more than a Tshirt, cup type celebration. Nothing special.

I'm sure there will be merchandise or at least a pin with the Spaceship Earth Ball or Figment.

The 30th was relatively big. Nothing huge but more than just a cupcake and a pin!

I hope so. At least some merchandise and a fireworks tag like they did for the 30th. We already have the trip on the calendar. We will be staying at Beach Club or Boardwalk to be close to the action!

The 25th was AWESOME.
I should know....




Not expecting anything for the 35th, except the likelihood of a expensively priced D23 'Destinations' type of event similar to what happened for the 30th, which in all reality, was all that really 'happened' of any substance related to that particular anniversary.

What was open and 'free' for every fan in the Park on the 25th became a paying event five years later by the newly created 'Official Disney Fan Club' at one of the Deluxe Resorts.

Hmmm..methinks Disney learned some things watching us all during the 25th.




Oh...and of course there will be some collectible merchandise.
Pins, limited editions t-shirts...that sort of thing.
I will admit i rather liked some of the items released for both the 25th and 30th.

Probably some cool merchandising, but that's about it. Also, thanks for noting Rivers of Light, I haven't heard of that until you mentioned it, but it definitely seems like it can be pretty cool (and I'm not really a fan of Animal Kingdom).
