Epcot 35th Anniversary Merchandise coming in 2017

The pavilion logos are off. The rainbow is too, as is the ring logo. Surely this is intentional then? I would almost read it as what should've happened with EPCOT: slow evolution to keep it up to date. A natural growth and adaptation of what it was all about.

I always find stuff like this so fakey and reductive. This stuff sells like hotcakes and they know it, yet they will never EVER do anything remotely similar in concept to the idea that so many love and cherish when it comes to Epcot here. The disconnect of why this stuff sells is wild to me.

I stopped buying all the retro merchandise for this very reason. I'd rather just spend my money on eBay and get the real stuff.
