Wasn’t Paige cut from the line up pre-Covid? So is this the same actress playing her or what? Anyone know? But this is amazing news, I really thought seeing the CoH again was a pipe dream.

She was cut from full time but I still saw her regularly at DHS. That’s the same actress... she’s been there for like 15 years now.

Looks like voices aren’t using their colonial costumes and have opted for their July 4th red and blue outfits. Not sure if this is permanent to better match the updated cast costumes for the pavilion or what the story is. Anyone else have any info?
Hi Nicky, No I dont know anyone who is in tightly with that grouping. I do have a contact at DHS, but it is doubtful they they know anything regarding entertainment casting. I'll ask though. Marie

Paige was part of the group in Fall 2018 that lost their full time contracts when the cast was downsized. She was kept on as a sub and worked a good bit between then and the closure.

That’s what my fear is. The marathon already had them in the budget for entertainment so they were still there but park operations isn’t going to bring them back?
So many odd decisions have been made in regards to live entertainment.

RunDisney essentially acts as a client and specifically requests/pays for everything at the event, so the powers that be wanted them to appear on the route still.
Disney still hasn’t officially “closed” the offering, but seems no immediate plans to bring them back still.

Exactly.
I don’t think they’re coming back. They’ve been removed from costuming. Disney has been wanting a more modern look for Voices for a while now. Guess this was their opportunity to ditch the colonial wear.

I would like to think and hope so.
I know the cast is completely clueless as to if or when anything would happen but they were thankful for today atleast.

I was scared that was going to happen. It didn’t really make any sense anymore after the host/ess costumes were all changed for the pavilion to look more modern. It’s interesting though as they update the world showcase costumes that half the countries got more modern(Mexico, China, America...)looking options and half got very period specific looking ones(France, UK..). Doesnt seem consistent. Do you know what the reason for the modern voices look was?I don’t think they’re coming back. They’ve been removed from costuming. As weird as it'll sound but being in DHS without them felt really off. I know I definitely didn't spend as much time in there as I normally did and they are a large reason why.
For me it was Mulch., Sweat & Shears. Without them I dont spend near the same amount of time on DHS. I am more focused on Epcot as there is a lot of the good entertainment going on. Alberta Bound/ Canadian Holiday Voyageurs were playing in Canada and now with the return of the Voices of Liberty, that is even more reason for me to be at Epcot more. Marie
