LOL, I have no problem with anyone in my department...it just seems there are a lot of posts lately about being in entertainment and no one uses the search button. Plus this kid does need to grow up a little...

I've grown up a lot, but would still like to do some character work. However I'd not like trying to survive on what passes for the wages

Yep, anyone from 4'9-5'1 and 6'0 and above have a great chance of getting into the department

If you are really interested in being a character, then Give Kids the World is auditioning for character roles. It might be a great stepping stone to future WDW work as well as being very rewarding. It's work a look see.

Yep, anyone from 4'9-5'1 and 6'0 and above have a great chance of getting into the department

In my very biased opinion, the coolest characters are in the TALL range--6'2" and above...

Without going into specific heights, look at what you get in Tallsville:

The Beast--you get to hang out with a typically foxy Belle. Also, kids are too scared of you to pull on your tail or anything like that. And...no autographs! (Paws are too big)

Chewbacca--easily the coolest Star Wars character. And, per George Lucas, no autographs!

Jafar--again, most kids are afraid so they don't mess with you. Being "bad" is fun too.

Goofy--Everyone loves Goofy!

Sweetums--What a deal--look for Bean, put out a fire, then relax until the next show. :sohappy:

Chewbacca is awesome, he's 6'9 so only a few people can actually be "friends" with him
