Entering Epcot through the World Showcase?

Trip is planned for April 7-11. We have breakfast reservations at Cape May on Day 1 at 8:40. After breakfast, I planned on us walking to Epcot from the Beach Club but does that make sense? Nothing on that side of the park will be open, right?

You can still enter Epcot through the Int'l Gateway. Park open is still 9am at that entrance although almost everything else in WS doesn't open until 11. The Parisian bakery will be open as well as Frozen in the Norway Pavilion and probably their bakery as well.

It's probably faster to walk through the WS to get to FW than to take a bus from the Beach to the front entrance of Epcot. I'd walk. We just did this last month from the Boardwalk and it was fine. Frozen will be open and you will be amongst the first to get there if you are so inclined.
I’m not certain, but I don’t think there are buses to Epcot from Beach Club. Don’t quote me though.

I love walking through World Showcase before it is fully open. It's so nice and peaceful and quiet. It's a nice easy stroll from the Beach Club, lines aren't long to get in at that time, and you'll be able to walk off your breakfast on your way to Future World.

Great time to get a few pictures of France and UK without anyone in your shots. We usually stay at one of the Epcot resorts and I love going in through the IG early in the morning.
