And yet there is another thread where people are swearing that attendance is down, so at this point? Who knows.Does anyone know what the cause of this huge spike in attendance is? Is there some sort of new discount? I can understand a gradual increase in the number of cars due to less people flying, and I could understand Columbus Day, but the crowds have still barely died down! Nemo was almost an hour long wait earlier!
Actually more free time for kids from CO to get mile high. That give Disney more time to cater to the family from Denver.
Yeah…unfortunately October sucksWe were there from the 6th to the 17th. The crowds were insane everyday!! Mostly at MK and EPCOT. One Saturday night we went to dinner at the WL and on the boat ride back to the MK, we saw the fireworks. Once we docked, instead of going to catch our bus to POFQ, we thought we’d go to the MK and catch a few rides. Well we got in and at the end of Main St near the Plaza and Casey’s, there was a HUGE jam up of people. You could absolutely not move at all. I’ve never seen it like that. Not to the point where everything just stopped. We waited about 10 minutes and after not moving even a few feet, we decided to leave. It was actually kinda scary.
It really is their mission…isn’t it? We all can respect that! That give Disney more time to cater to the family from Denver.
Not with hotel bookings…so who’s at the inns?June/July was very soft (very shocking), an uptick in attendance started in September.
Those discounts are helping

That's not good at all. They need to out of state people to come. The discounts aren't working.I Drive/US 192 has been pretty busy lately, so definitely looks like folks are staying offsite - good indication its just FL residents driving this boom right now

If you read this board long enough you will come to understand that when WDW is slow it is because the place sucks but if WDW is crowded it is only because of some temporary fluke and in short order the place will suck again. And yet there is another thread where people are swearing that attendance is down, so at this point? Gee, would have thought your temporary ban from this thread might have gotten through to you. Would have been wrong though!
That's actually a really telling question. Is anyone aware of data that might give us a clue?Crowds …. And why are some experiences with normally low waits now 1hour+?
Why has Buzz Lightyear’s wait increased so dramatically?
