Trip Report englanddg's Spook-a-dee-doo-dah

Well, I haven't finished the previous trip report, but another trip is coming...

Not much to this pre-trip.

We are booked at the Nick hotel.

We plan to go to Sea World on our second day (Sat)...

And we'll have fun on Sunday at the Mickey's Not so Scary Halloween Party...

All is done and booked aside from the flights...

I just looked at a terminal diagram and there are more airlines that use Terminal A, hence that's probably why there are more crowds on that side? I've gotten stuck in lines there waiting for TSA as well. I fly Jet Blue and that's the terminal.
Perhaps. Oddly, Terminal B has 10 more gates available than Terminal A...even though more airlines use Terminal A. That's what sortof blows my mind.

And yeah, kiddo flew JetBlue...I learned my lesson, give TSA there at least 20 minutes even during "slow times"...on the other gate I generally wait 5 - 10 at the most (today I quite literally walked through, while Terminal A took nearly a half hour, and the line was LONGER when I flew out of Terminal B (I know because I ate at the sports bar right outside of Terminal A right before I crossed the airport and literally walked onto Terminal B...Terminal A had lines so long they were nearly to the other end of the lobby area...

Honestly, it's a bit of a carp shoot with the lines for the TSA. I've been there at times when I got through in about 10 minutes, and other times when it took close to an hour. And, I don't go down there in the really heavy tourist seasons such as school vacation, or Christmas, etc. I travel at a moderate crowd level time. Again, it's different every time I go. I just always allow for extra time. Usually, I always have time to go to the food court area in the terminal as well. I know it's all fast food and all, but there's really a lot of variety. Lord knows they don't feed you on flights anymore, so it's always important to get a meal prior to your flight. :) (P.S.: I do like those blue chips on Jet Blue, though!! :hungry: )
