Well I was away for the weekend and just got back and wanted to thank everyone for their encouraging words and input. :)

You all are right and have made me feel much better about rushing into things. Everyone's situation is different and a thing like marriage is not something to do because everyone else is doing it.

I know Chris loves me and I love him and no amount of money or diamond ring is needed to prove that. :D

Are you calling me fat, tiger boy? :p

Now. now, I would never do that, I'm just saying that your presence in the October photo shoot will not only enhance the competition as a whole but also help provide some assistance to a very deserving charity.

Just a note of clarification. . .it is a Wildcat and not a tiger, but you may call me Tiger if you wish. And If you switch the Vanilla Pepsi with a Vanilla Diet Coke or a Lime Diet Coke and replace the Twinky with a wedge of colby-jack cheese you'd be well on your way to a low carb Lifestyle.

So, to sum it up - Make A Wish - needs you!

Boy, doesn't that seem to be the way it is!? People get all worked up over the ring and the dress and forget there is a LIFETIME COMMITMENT COMING THEIR WAY! Hello! :hammer:

Engaged...

Well, it is different for everyone.

My first relationship, we were together for 10 years. Never got engaged. It just didn't feel right but we kept it going for that long. I finally ended that one. I am now in my second relationship, and we were one and off for 3 years. We just returned yesterday from our trip to Disney World where I popped the question. This one feels right. Some take longer then others, and some don't really see the need for marriage. If they see that they get already what a marriage entails, they may not want to change or ruin what they have. This one has made it stronger. I proposed at the wishing well near the castle. The evil stepmother and stepsisters had just walked back before I did it and they sensed something was up. When we came down the hill, she was like, did you waste your money on that well? I was like, yep, and then she was like, those wishes never come true. Well, I told her this one did and when the sisters saw the ring, they were upset they missed it... lol
