Just wondering when school systems start letting out for some break, this should help those planning trips to decide when the best time to go.

Well, I work for a software company in the educational sector. Most of our schools are in major cities. Both NYC and Philly let out in mid to late June. This is true of most of our other districts.

Not to say more rural districts get out earlier. It all depends upon the school district. And some are all year round too.

I got out of school April 30th (early 'cause I'm a senior). The rest of the students in Lee County Schools stay until somewhere around the 12th I beleive.

Last day is June 14th, I graduate on June 20th. WOOOH!!!

I'd like to add to this that while it doesn't add as many people to the crowds as primary and secondary school age kids do, colleges are finishing left and right around here (I've been done for over a week now, I know many people who are done at the end of this week.)

I also know that the public schools in our area of the US get out around the second week of June.

Indeed, classes ended for my brother at UF before mine did, some time in late April.

Did you mean just in Florida, or all around the country?

If you ment around the country, in NJ (at least for me) I get out May 17th (college) and my district (HS, MS, and Elem.) get out June 20th. (which is the same day we leave for Disney!!)

Just trying to figure a good time to squeeze in another trip. So far it looks like before Memorial Day would be a good time to go.

Our Primary school in Kentucky will be out May 27 Yippeee!

in north western pa. most school get our June 2 or 3rd. My sister is a Teacher in German town md and they don't get out until june 16 th and thats county wide.

Up in Massachusetts most schools are letting out between June 21 and June 27.

Most Jersey shore schools get around June 17th. (Like me, 27 days to go! )

Most of the Long Island Schools let out on the 16th of June.

Most of Georgia is out the 20th, so there should be a bit of an increase in attendence as I know quite a few people that are making a trip that following week.

I'm in Illinois and I get out June 8th also the day we leave for WDW. Most other schools around here get out that week or the week after.

new jersey schools get out the end of june, tallahassee schools have about 2-3 weeks left and so do phoenix area schools

I live in connecticut and my school is the first in the state to get out! June 3rd

Schools around me get out the first or second week in June. Chicago Public Schools get out June 17th.
