End of Hannah Montana?

I keep seeing the previews on Disney Channel for the upcoming HM movie. From the clips they show in the preview, it appears as if Miley will quit being Hannah Montana. Presumably, this would mean the end of the show. Has anyone heard if the current season of HM is the final season? Perhaps this is why they have that new show premiering...Sonny With a Chance. Is that show going to fill the slot left vacant by the cancellation of HM? Of course, they could just be showing those particular clips in order to get people like me wondering, and they will end up resolving the movie with Miley choosing to continue being Hannah Montana, and the show continuing. I just wondered if anyone has heard anything...officially, or throught the grapevine?

My sister said that Miley and her Dad wanted to end the show. So they probably made the movie and is having her chose the country life. It is kind of obvious anyway they why did it anyway.

I believe that their still might be a concert for the movie and that would be it. NOT SURE ABOUT THAT LAST SENTENCE!

Almost every show that Disney has put forth follows the same path. There is a set number of shows and it usually works out to be 3 or 4 seasons. The third season is under way so more than likely this is it.

Everything I have read says Disney ahs at least an option for a 4th season and ther eis every intention of exercising it.

Well think of I mean if you wanted to quit something you wouldent want to be pulled back.RIGHT?I mean the only disney show to get a forth season is Kim Possible?They tryed to and her with So The Drama.And think back to the Lizzy Magrier Movie.:veryconfu

Miley agread to a forth season.And she will remain Hannah Montana remember at the end of the movie after she sings the climb and that little girl ask if she can still be Hannah Montana and she says yes?Yay I know you can tell I love Kim Possible but I also love Hannah Montana!

I believe That's So Raven went over the 3 season (65 episode) rule, as did The Suite Life of Zack and Cody (which also spurred the spinoff The Suite Life at Sea).

Really, if anyone hasn't seen the Hannah Montana Movie yet, yes she does a big reveal moment (it's on the commercial), but the final ending does leave it open ended as to the possibility of a 4th Season. Personally, I don't feel that Miley is mature enough to do larger roles as another character. She's essentially become Hannah/Miley, just as Hilary Duff couldn't play anyone but Lizzie McGuire (even in her other roles like A Cinderella Story, Material Girls, etc.). It seems she's pretty much playing herself, rather than acting as somebody else, and really hasnt' shown much versatility. I have no doubt that she has the potential to do bigger and better things, but it'll have to wait until she can finally escape the "Hannah" name (just like Hilary had to wait for 2 years for people to let go of calling her Lizzie on the street).

A 4th season of Hannah would get some more money in the Cyrus family's pockets until Miley grows into the actress that she could be, or else she'll be doomed to Hannah/teen chick flicks for a very long time.

Maybe they could have her in a show where she's unhappy with living in the country and wants to move to the big city but her boyfriend wants to stay in the country. And their neighbors could have a really smart, anthropomorphic pig who understands English conversation. And lots of wacky, down-home friends . . .

I can only hope Disney dumps Miley soon. In all honesty she was the biggest brat I have ever met the two times I came in contact with her.

It's great that Disney has milked the cash cow, but she is not what you would expect from a Disney "star."
