We're heading to Disney next week. My girls are big Enchanted fans. Is Giselle anywhere in the parks or in the parade at all. Also, is Darby from Tigger and Pook around? Thanks!

I know Giselle was in a pre-parade at the Magic Kigndom before the 3:00 parade for a while, but I don't know if that's still the case. However, I know for sure that Darby appears regularly at Pooh's Playful Spot. :)

Have a fun trip!

I was at MK on 3/7 and saw Giselle a few minutes before the 3pm parade. That is the only place though. And as Skip mentioned Darby is out at Pooh's playful spot at MK - that was the only park I saw her at.

Oh, also, I'm pretty sure Darby also appears with Pooh and Tigger in the Playhouse Disney Live on Stage show.

I was just thinking about this today of the technical side of this movie...This is from Wikipedia's Explanation on the whole Giselle marketing and why we don't see her as much in the parks..

"Although Giselle is shown in both animated and live-action forms, she is not being marketed as one of the Disney Princesses, as was thought when a 2007 Toy Fair showed a Giselle doll featured with packaging declaring her with Disney Princess status.
Disney has since decided not to include Giselle in the Princess line when they realized they would have to pay for life-long rights to Amy Adams' image. While Giselle is not being marketed as one of the Disney Princesses, Giselle and Enchanted merchandise has been available in various outlets with Adams' animated likeness being used on all Princess Giselle merchandise."

Giselle isn't in the pre-parade over,
But you can meet Darby along with Tigger and Pooh at Pooh's Playground (right outside the Winnie the Pooh ride)!
Hope that helps:)

With no little kids in the house anymore, I had no idea who Darby was. Since Tigger is my absolute favorite, I was in line to get a picture with him, and I was like, "That's the oddest looking Christopher Robin I've ever seen! Doesn't look anything like him...."

:ROFLOL:I can't tell you how many guests ask me "Why does Christopher Robin look so feminine!
...It takes a lot to suppress a grin while responding "well...that's Darby, she's a girl."

There's also hardly any Enchanted merchandise in the parks. All I found was one pin, one little kid's book, and one doll.

-big Enchanted fan, too-

When we visited in November, the parade at DHS introduced Giselle as the newest Disney princess and had a float for her in the parade. At the time, I hadn't yet seen the movie, so was unfamiliar with who she was. Obviously, she's not in that parade anymore, since it's been changed to the Block Party, but from her introduction at the time and inclusion with her own float, I would expect that Giselle was, at one time, planned to be a Disney princess.

Bumping this thread to ask if there are any vestiges of Enchanted in the parks that we should be on the lookout for. My wife is a huge, huge fan of this film, and I'm quite fond of it as well, but I suspect it has no real representation at WDW at this point. We don't need to see Giselle, obviously, (and I know we won't) but it would be nice to know if music/songs from the film were used somewhere (ala the Enchanted fireworks show at Disneyland Paris and the bit of "So Close" used in World of Color out at DCA).

Anything?
