Happy Sunday, all!

I'm be back home with the Mouse in two weeks, and was wondering if the World had started to do meet and greets with the characters from Enchanted yet. I realize that it's majorly early, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

And, for all of those who have been to MNSSHP this year, anything different from last year? Any different characters doing appearances?

I've been calling Disney nearly daily, to find out when and where the Enchanted characters will be coming out, as of right now nothing is confirmed.
But you never know, I'm hoping my son and daughter can meet disney's new princess!!!

The Pirates characters from what i've been told are the last to actualy get face characters based on actual face actors. mostly because it's extreemly hard to cast. and people are more picky now.

Mary poppins and others work because they are the "original" and the actors in the movie potrayed them. but people can't get out of the rut of saying that jack sparrow looked like jonny depp when it is suppose to be the other way around

That sounds strange to me on Disney's part. I mean, character appearances are a great marketing scheme for the movie and impending merch. I hope they change their minds.

I totally agree esp. since the main character is a princess. And as everyone knows Disney's princess line is huge.
Why wouldn't they want to add to the line by adding a new princess?

That's pretty much what I was thinking. I mean, you can't turn around on Main Street without being confronted with princess merch.

I also understand that these characters are harder to cast, but regardless, I prefer the face characters.

I recall reading an interview with Amy Adams in "Entertainment Weekly" several weeks ago in which she was talking about the pressure of here role since she her portrayal of the princess in Enchanted would soon be adopted and adapted by CMs all over the world in Disney parks. I figure she didn't come up with that on her own. Not that it's a big deal to me one way or another, but it sounds like Enchanted face characters are a likelihood. Maybe CMs would know if any casting was under way.

That's exactly the way I feel.
I love the face characters, been working on getting a collage going of all the disney "couples" Need Ariel with Price Eric and Snow White with her Prince.
I went to the first Princess & Pirate Party back in August but Eric wasn't greeting, bummer!
Really wanted my children to meet him.
Oh well, there's always next time.
I'm seriously going to be surprised if Disney doesn't have Princess Giselle meeting with her Prince at MGM Studios, you know?
I mean the last several movies that have come out have had characters there inside the animation building to correspond with the release of that movie. Let's see there's been Chicken Little & Abby Mallard, The characters from Meet the Robinsons Louis, Wilbur and the Bowler Hat Guy, and Remy & Emile from Ratatouille (Hope my spelling is correct)
Anyway, here's hoping!!!

Your spelling is great! I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens, but I'd be very surprised if they didn't have meet and greets planned.

Thanks :)
I called again today, and they basically said that they didn't have a schedule yet. So there is hope.
I remember when I called about Esmeralda during the flower and garden festival after hearing some rumours that she was meeting than, so I called and they told me the same thing about her.
I bet that next month they will have some information....

Well I know at least Giselle will be making pre-parade appearances only at Disneyland when the film premieres on a redecorated float. My source told me that they weren't planning on doing meet-n-greets however.

And their character stuff is by and large lame, so I'm sure WDW will do something better with the new characters.
my experience has always been that anything related to entertainment at the Disneyland Resort is superior to what we have at WDW...interesting...

The Animation sequence is only 8 minutes long and it wasn't even done by WDFA. This movie was done to be true to the Disney look..Still I doubt will see any...who knows?

They are absolutely Disney characters. The movie is made by Disney. That makes them Disney characters. Is Jack Sparrow not a Disney character?

Okay your right...They are disney characters..My apologies .However the animation was done by James Baxter Animation..So Walt Disney Feature Animation didn't do anything..I think there really trying to amp up The Frog Prince & Rapunzle Unbraided Princesses..

They are having a hard enough time filling the need for face characters as it is. I think it will be a while before we add more face characters to the mix. And if you see a unique character out and about, chances are it was a freak day where there were extra cast members that day, or it is training day.
