I did a blog post that looked at the SFWMD filings for Tropical Americas, and then made some educated guesses about where and what everything is. Here's the end result map:

I find the mayan playground area so interesting because 1. That sounds so cool and well positioned I don't know why Disney hasn't released concept art for it and 2. It could be food carts or something else like show. Personally I've been saying move the UP bird show here

I’m not seeing enough Star Wars merchandise carts.
You know what? That is what has been missing from this area all long - Star Wars merchandise. Now they just can't skimp on the amount of SW merch available for purchase and everything will be great. 6 or 7 SW merchandise carts ought to do the trick. But there could be fights breaking out, though, between all the people clamoring for Encanto merchandise and all the people wanting SW merchandise.

All I’m going to say is that if I can’t buy a BB-8 plushie 10yds away from the entrance to Antonio Banderas’ Animal Mishmash Spin-A-Round Galore, or whatever the hell it’s called, the magic will truly be ruined.

This is the sort of thing that really isn’t worth reporting. Very few projects get through any permitting without comment and revision. It’s the sort of thing people boast about. It’s almost like reporting that a delivery was stopped at a red light.

It's important to post *here* for those who believe no updates means it's canceled.

I’m sure this has been discussed earlier in this thread, and if so I apologize, but is there any word on what kind of ride Encanto is? It looks like a boat ride in the concept art.

The more I think about this land, the more excited I am for it. I always felt Animal Kingdom was the most beautiful park Disney has done, except for Dinoland. Now this land feels like it can match the rest of the park’s aesthetic and have better attractions. My only real complaint is I wish they added one more ride just to have a +1 over Dinoland. But I’ll take this. Especially if Encanto turns out to be a great Dark Ride which AK needs.

I really think this is going to be a fantastic addition to AK.

I am also excited for this transformation into Pueblo Esperanza. I too agree that it balances out the park better - a newly themed land that stands up against Harambe and Anandapur.

The other positive is that all three attractions are either indoor or covered, something that this park desperately needs for when it rains.

This project feels very 90s to me in a good way. A well-themed land not focused on a single IP with more than 2 attractions, majority of which won't have a height requirement (5 attractions if Nemo remains categorised in this section and we get the playground in addition to the 3 confirmed)

If they put an Emperor’s New Groove show where Nemo currently is, the land would be complete.
