DAK 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

The more I think about this land, the more excited I am for it. I always felt Animal Kingdom was the most beautiful park Disney has done, except for Dinoland. Now this land feels like it can match the rest of the park’s aesthetic and have better attractions. My only real complaint is I wish they added one more ride just to have a +1 over Dinoland. But I’ll take this. Especially if Encanto turns out to be a great Dark Ride which AK needs.

I really think this is going to be a fantastic addition to AK.

I am also excited for this transformation into Pueblo Esperanza. I too agree that it balances out the park better - a newly themed land that stands up against Harambe and Anandapur.

The other positive is that all three attractions are either indoor or covered, something that this park desperately needs for when it rains.

This project feels very 90s to me in a good way. A well-themed land not focused on a single IP with more than 2 attractions, majority of which won't have a height requirement (5 attractions if Nemo remains categorised in this section and we get the playground in addition to the 3 confirmed)

If they put an Emperor’s New Groove show where Nemo currently is, the land would be complete.

Except if it were made in the 1990s, it would actually be focused on animals instead of two IPs about humans. And the main attraction would probably be a cool Amazon-themed attraction.

I think it's pretty safe to say that animals will be the focus of the rides in some way, just using an IP as a vessel. I've said it before but Indiana Jones is the perfect IP to do this with. In a park that's so based upon the ideas of not just conservation, but our relationship with the natural world, they've yet to really explore the way in which animals have been deified in a lot of cultures around the world, and I would bet that's the approach that's being taken with Indy. Personally I find that a very exciting angle as it's one of the more fascinating glimpses into how humankind and the animal kingdom interact.

I'll believe it when I see it. Disney knows what people want from an Encanto ride, and it certainly isn't Mirabel talking about animals. I'd be shocked if they didn't have the characters sing "We Don't Talk About Bruno" at one point.

An...interesting development at the Fossil Fun Games.

They still have little triceratops, little Minnies, and both big Cementosauruses and igaunadons, but the numbers must be small.
