Millennium Falcon's wait time has dropped to 45 minutes, and Emotional Whirlwind is hanging in there at 40 minutes.

We'll have to watch this phenomenon carefully this evening when the Friday after-work crowd shows up, but the Disneyland Resort may have just opened the ride that dethrones Star Wars Land.

Hopefully Phil Holmes unleashes a version for DHS. I'm sure it will be scaled back tho as TDO official policy mandates.

I call jip. Booooo!!

It is quite interesting how Jessie's Critter Carousal was highly praised, but when it comes to Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind, god forbid.

It's a brand new purple ribbon, with custom gold balls! A ball for each Ambassador.

Zach went and bought it all at Michael's Crafts. The scissors are from an actual giant's house.

Wait, are you two brothers? Is this a sibling rivalry or something?

Why only 3 Official Ambassadors for Disneyland? Not a very diverse layout.

I don't feel that these three necessarily reflect my dreams, needs, wants and occasional wild-card expectations as a fan and guest.

What twists my toes about it is the fact that not only are they just recycling a cruddy old kiddie ride that wasn't great to begin with (because they're cheap), but they also magically promoted it from kiddie ride to major attraction. This gargantuan corporation is pinching pennies and using smoke and mirrors (and boatloads of PR B.S.) to serve the public Mac n' Cheese while charging Sirloin Steak prices. :D

And the APers are dumb enough to believe it. Too much money and too little brains.

I'm surprised so many people are negative about it. It looks really nice to me. But I couldn't even tell you what it looked like when it was in ABL. But its not like they just plopped it down as was. They did make it look really nice. And people were complaining with the closure of ABL there is less for kids to do. Well, they one ride back. Three more to go I guess.

The ride used to be themed to Chinese takeout boxes or something.
I've never missed Chinese takeout so much.

In all fairness this was never good, but it was never this bad either.

A race to the bottom of sorts.

*Fast fact: ------->Disney's Creative Developement team on Emotional Whirlwind was comprised of 7 teams of 11 interns named Zach, each spelled in its own special, unique and original one of a kind way.

It's because it's--quite literally--a cheap carnival spinner (a *used* one) that any park can purchase that Disney's painted up and presented as if it's brilliant. Knott's has had one of these for years. And other parks don't charge as much as Disney does. Again: Disney's serving Mac n' Cheese at Filet Mignon Prices. Disney is currently one of the most financially well-off companies on Earth. With the biggest movie studio and some of the most creative people in the world at their disposal, are you really happy that they're charging obscene prices for you to have the opportunity to hop on a ride you can find at your local parking lot summer carnival?

It's the big picture. This is not "good" Disney. This is "huckster" Disney.

Yss and that people were fighting like tooth and nail to keep it when we heard they were going to raze ABL for Marvel. Well now you have one of them back and better themed. I just don't see the issue? But I never thought it should've been there since it was built (which is why I didn't remotely care ABL was destroyed because it was exactly what you just said....only it was an entire land of cheap carnival rides) but everyone kept saying 'but think of the children!!!!!!' Well, they did I guess. I don't know, its much ado about nothing. And what else would they put in that tiny space anyway? Maliboomer 2.0 maybe. Its a lot of over reaction for a tiny space that held nothing in it for nearly a decade. Now there is something there again.
