Embarassed on Buzz

So here I am, the ultimate Disney nerd, and even worse, I live in Orlando.

My friend comes down to visit me from Nashville. Took her to the Kingdom. Went went on BLSRS. I told her "that I was gonna whoop her butt", score wise.

I dunno what she did.
Or who she knows.....

But she out-shot me by 100k.
AND, having an AP and being a Local, I feel that qualifies me for 'homecourt advantage'

I know about the big point targets in the movie room, but are there any other suggestions so I am never embarassed on Buzz again? :animwink:

The last time i rode it, i pulled 999,999 on the right hand gun and 950,000 on the left hand. (I have a witness)

Its a video game. Hard to hit targets are worth a lot of points. Find them and shoot them. A Lot.

Don't feel too embarassed. I've been on the ride many many times and I still suck at it Once probably I got lucky and hit 100,000. Never again

Hmmm...did you try the tried and proven trick of keeping the trigger down the whole ride?

I recently got on soft openings for Buzz at Disneyland CA (YAY! SOFT OPENING! YAY! I'VE ALWAYS WANTED TO DO THAT!) and they "fixed" it so that you cannot just "hold down the trigger". You can fire rapidy, but you can't do it like you used to. Overall, through, the CA version tops Florida, I have to say.

I always score high on that ride. I always try for the targets that give the high scores. especially the one on zorg. I just like beating family members and bragging about the whoopin I hand out.

Shoot for the Vulcano all the way in the back. I am pretty sure its in the first room. You get a ton of points for that. Thats what I do.

I am not good on that either, but one of the reasons why is I am laughing hysterically at my husband who is just so focused on beating me. He has this serious look on his face like he is playing in the Super Bowl. I never get over the giggles long enough to aim right to play serious too. Hey, that is what Disney is about...having fun and laughing, right?

have heard that if you shoot the back of the red robot that it give you 9,999 points (it was on the Travel channel show thing)


Ok I re watched the show Its the orange rovot in the first room, hit the back of his hand and its 100,000 points.

I'm really bad at Buzz Lightyear because I hate the guns and by the middle of the ride my fingers start to hurt! Sometimes I just give up, haha. Everyone always beats me on Buzz. But then I take them to Universal and I beat them by hundreds on thousands on Men In Black!
