I sometimes miss that Eisner guy...I miss his lead-ins to films on TV or some of the specials...Iger always strikes me as some sort of ticked-off creeper who doesn't have time for you...and can't be bothered with any of this silly "magic" crap.
However, the biggest gripe I have about Iger is the abuse of IP's. I know it makes money...but the guy starts to burn me out on even some of the best of them. I love Star Wars...and (at first) I didn't hate frozen (didn't love it either) but now I'm firmly in the red with Frozen and I'm kinda tired of hearing about Star Wars...I'm excited for the next films, and the theme park stuff...but, those properties aren't why I'm a longtime fan of all things Disney... and for that matter, I like it better when I don't feel like every last thing they do in both the parks and in movies is motivated by profits...lately the offerings feel like a shameless sort of pandering to squeeze those last few cents out of my pocket...
If you're gonna rob me blind, at least make me unaware of it...or thrilled to death about it...
