A few days ago it was announced that Eisner and his buds took a look at some protype conecpts inside a sub at Disneyland California's submarine voyage. He approved it! The submarine voyage which opened way back in 1959 and closed in 1998 will be comelety restored/upgraded/updated and will reopen sometime by or in 2007. The new submarine voyage will revovle around the finding Nemo fish and friends and possibly other aquadic life featured in other Disney films on trips to various undersea destinations.
While this is great news for fans of bringing back 'a world on the move' to the disasterious disneyland tomorrowland 1998, I wonder if this new ride will just be another 'Fantasyland East', a tomorrowland just full of characters from films.
Anyhow tying in with WDW, I wonder if Eisner will try and save is view on the public ebfore he goes in 2006. So maybe he very well save or help save the carousel of progress, not that he could give a damn about it, but just to keep his happy little reputation. Makes me wonder when they are going to spend 50 million dollars on a laggon and submarines, and most likely far less money to upgrade and redoe the ending of the carousel of progress if they do save it.
