Egg Benedict Hunt

I've started scanning all of the menus but thought someone on here may save me the time (which could be better spent packing at this point). Can anyone tell me where I can get some Eggs benny for breakfast either in MK or near the Dolphin? I get a craving for a good hollandaise sauce every once in a while and this would be a good way to start the day.

Thanks!

Trail's End has Eggs Benedict with their trademark pulled pork BBQ. They recently added it with Canadian Bacon now too! Good priced buffet and trays of them on it makes 10 of them easy to put down!

You are not going to find good Hollandaise at almost any place in WDW. I can pretty much guarantee that anay place (except for maybe V&A) is not making Hollandiase to order, so that means one of two things.

1) They are using a mix - and if that is the case, then why bother.
2) They are making it in bulk and holding it for service, in which case it is the worlds biggest perti dish.

Hollandiase has to be kept warm, not cold, not hot, but warm. The problem is, that warm temp, with all that liquid and protien - it is just begging to become a crock pot of bacteria.

I love eggs Bennedict and I am far from being food adverse. Raw shellfish, raw fish, rare meat (even burgers), steak tartare, sukiyaki (with raw egg) it's all good. Hollandaise away from home I tend to steer clear of (most times, sometimes I will break down and eat it) - same goes for mussels - I love them, but thats another dicey dish to otder out.

Excellent point. I would be disappointed if the sauce wasn't very good and I'm accustomed to a really good hollandaise sauce. I may have to hit my local breakfast spot before I head to the airport to get my fix in and I will be completely satisfied with Mickey waffles for my Disney breakfasts.

Though I love the Grand Floridian Cafe, I wasn't crazy about their Lobster Eggs Benedict. The Polynesian's Kona Cafe offers someting like Eggs Benedict, only with somekind of themed meat and Hollandaise sauce. I don't recall whats it's called, but it was surprisingly good and so was the sauce. In fact you really can't go wrong with anything at the Kona, it's all yummy and unique

We need time for things to happen.
I love me some eggs Benedict and usually get them whenever I go out for breakfast...well until I read @Phonedave 's post...yow!
I never had it at WDW..usually because we rarely stop for a sit down breakfast when we're there.

I did have an incredible version at a place called Wild Eggs while we were visiting my friend in louisville.
Check out this set up:
*Kalamity Katie’s Border Benedict
Green chili cheddar corn cakes, topped with chorizo, two poached eggs and queso fundido, pico de gallo, sour cream, green onions and avocado. Skillet potatoes and an Everything muffin

Easily one of the best breakfast dishes I've ever had.

I love, love, LOVE Eggs Benedict. Even though it directly violates Anthony Bourdain's restaurant directives, I still order it. I think about what he said about it every time I do; but I usually still spin the food poisoning wheel and get it.

*Knock on wood* lucky so far.

I think that is the Samoan- pulled pork hash with hollandaise and egg

The quick service place at Saratoga Springs serves eggs benedict on the weekends (at least it did a few years ago)

Most of the table service restaurants that serve breakfast have some kind of eggs Benedict. I think the best is the lobster version at the Grand Floridian Café. Olivia's also has a nice one.
This ^^^^ Grand Floridian Cafe's eggs benedict is the best on property, IMHO and I LOVE eggs benedict!! With or without Lobster, it's fabulous. You can also ask for extra hollandaise sauce ;)

I really don't like when people assume food at WDW isn't made to order. We buy high-quality products and, in fact, make many items from scratch. Our top priority is safety. We take HACCP standards extremely seriously.
