Effects in Motor Stunt Show

Does anyone have a list or a general idea of what the spectrum of special effects or stunts we are to expect in the Motor Stunt show is? I know that for one effect Disney will not try to make a re-usuable shatter door. That is that for one effect a car will burst through a garage type door (breaking into lots of tiny pieces), and then after show put up another balsa wood type material door and sweep away the old one. Does anyone have any info like this on other stunts or effects that will take place in the show? Just wondering?

Explosions!!!! That is the only effect needed to make a great Stunt Show!!! But anyway, the cars are supposed to have Machine Guns. Kinda like Twisted Metal.

I can tell you what the Paris version uses;

Gunshot effects - both handgun and rifle
Squibs - the `spark` effects to signify a bullet hit
Wall of fire, and a burning stuntman (motorbike rider skids into flames)
Gas fed flames and explosions
`Shattering` glass window - replaced in WDW by garage door?
Exploding car (splits in 2)
Hi fall
Cars `skiing` (driving on 2 wheels)
Car jumps (3 separate ramps, one bi directional)
Jet ski

Well a member of the audience is going to get to drive in each show, so get ready to start waving and shouting like a lunatic when the casting begins at the start of each show! :)

as long as i dont have to drive the honda..... I dont do honda's

That is exactly why I am so excited about this show. My two obsessions are Disney and cars, so all these car stunts sound amazing!

No you arent going to be driving herbie unfortunately. It's one of the GM cars, although it's quite a surprise what happens, so I don't want to give it away. :)

Unless it is fixed like at Indy. But if it is not, I'll be over 18 next time I go to Disney meaning that I could be casted!!!!!!!

Im not sure that it will just be any random person. I could be wrong but I doubt they'll do that.

With what they have planned for this show (Many things are different from Paris), I'm willing to bet that it will be a plant. If this "guest" will be driving a car during a scene, Im almost positive that it will be a plant.

I've seen them going through some of the scenes at a undisclosed location to the public, and its suicide for anyone who isnt trained in the show to just drive a car during a scene.

But I suppose we'll have to wait for the production to begin to find out.

It isn't a plant, it will be an actual Guest. However, they wont be doing anything suicidal I can assure you LOL.

Im one of those guys to say Well Whatever. So, well whatever.

Not going to say your lying, not going to say your aren't.

But just where did you get this information? I ask because one of the managers who did a summer run in my area is from Area 6 (Backlot, Auto) and I keep in touch with him and he tells me anything that is new. I talked to him yesterday, asked him for an update and the only thing he told me is the Marque is 90% done.

Said nothing about a guest being chosen, and I know, without the shadow of a doubt (I know, I took it from the Rock, sue me) that he would have told me this bit of info already.

Stage and Entrance, YES!
Show, NO!

Just because the show is the same concept, doesnt mean it will be the SAME thing. Hell, over there, it doesnt have a true plot (To my remembering right). Over at the Studios, we'll have a plot. The show itself will be a movie in its own right, just them showing how they did the stunts at the end of the scene.

Sum it up: Just because its one thing somewhere else, doesnt mean it will be the same at a second location.

There must be something wrong with your memory, because the Paris version does have a plot, the same one that WDW will have. The WDW version is a direct lift.

Also:
