Easter Parade

When I was at the Magic Kingdom on thursday they has some kind of easter float on main street right before the 3 pm parade I took some pictures but did not see any mention of a parade on the park map.

Hey there, short notice but everyone is invited to our house on easter to watch it on video. We have a few years in a row on tape and I just found them while looking to recycle tapes.

Its BYOEE (Bring your own easter eggs!!!!!) :lol:

DisneyPhd I thank you for your kind invitation!!! However as I live in NYC I dont think I Am gonna be able to make it over!! I hope you and yours have an awesome holiday!!!! Also you seem to be into Dixie Landings....any points for a newbie?? I have stayed on property before and I have hit all of the other moderates. I have also done two of the values, so I Am not that new but Dixie Landings is a first for me. Any help you can give is appreciated!!

wannabebelle, sorry you can't make it. We just started watching the parade from 97 with the Castle Cake (Hosted by the kids from Boy Meets World). Test Track and Wide World of Sports were the "new or upcoming" attractions.

Dixie was our first resort and it's still our favorite moderate. Ask for a room in Aligator Bayou that's close to the main building (food, pool and bus stop). You'll love it.

This is so sad it makes me want to cry!!! Why did they stop the parades??? I used to get excited to watch every year. STill every easter i check to see if it is on, and it hasn't been in the past few years. What is this world coming too???

(note: I'm not really that broken up about it,but it is sad)

City Hall reports that the Easter parade uses twice as many Cast Members as the Share A Dream Come True Parade, and they don't want to pull that many CM's from other areas of the park just for a parade.

they have the cast... TRUST ME. And they're all willing to do it too... they just don't wanna pay the $$

Once again them not doing the Easter Parade is nothing new, this is at least the 3rd year in a row it has not been performed.
