I believe MK will move dates.
From the ones that are published?I believe MK will move dates.
They were, but They could easily flip things around in August. They’ve already shown willingness to move these evening hour days. I’m any event, they won’t have two parks on the same night. From the ones that are published?
Non party nights are Monday, Wednesday, Saturday typically right?
Yes for early entry. Is Fort Wilserness included in the early theme park entry and extra evening hours?
It is apparently helping deluxe resort bookings, so if that continues…Man I hope these deluxe evening hours become permanent. Now with 3 parks participating...that could be a game-changer for us even needing to purchase Genie +!
So anyone who stays in a deluxe and get a survey… make sure you indicate on there that the evening hours was a reason you chose to book that levelIt is apparently helping deluxe resort bookings, so if that continues…
As of right now, there’s no MK hours for that week. I’m wondering what will happen the following week.Isn't that the same night as MK hours though?
I’ve gotten said surveys and done exactly that.So anyone who stays in a deluxe and get a survey… make sure you indicate on there that the evening hours was a reason you chose to book that level
So those staying at a moderate or value resort are unable to take advantage of the extra hours like in the past. This seems to be a reason for people to stay offsite as no perks to stay"Early Theme Park Entry: We know how much guests enjoy extra park time, so coming later this year as part of our 50th anniversary celebration, Disney Resort hotel guests and guests of other select hotels will be able to enjoy more fun with 30-minute early entry to ANY theme park, EVERY day. It’ll be a great way to get a jump start on your Disney day, no matter the day! As a reminder, the Extra Magic Hours benefit was suspended when Walt Disney World Resort reopened last summer, and as we continue to manage attendance with health and safety top of mind, Extra Magic Hours will not return. The new early theme park entry benefit helps us better spread visitation across all four theme parks, while providing added flexibility by giving guests extra early park time on each day of their vacation and in the park of their choosing. Please note that guests need valid admission and a park reservation made via the Disney Park Pass system to enter a theme park."
A Look Ahead at Walt Disney World Resort
For nearly 50 years, Walt Disney World Resort has continued to evolve the guest experience to best suit the changing times. As we plan for the future, we are looking at how needs and preferences are changing across the travel industry, particularlydisneyparks.disney.go.com
They can use the morning early entry. Rope dropping for offsite guests is far less effective because early entry is every park, every day.So those staying at a moderate or value resort are unable to take advantage of the extra hours like in the past. It is unfortunate as we are staying at one if the budget resorts like in the past and were able to stay for extended hours then. They can use the morning early entry. Rope dropping for offsite guests is far less effective because early entry is every park, every day.
The extended evening hours once a week at MK and Epcot, and now DHS from April, is only for guests at DVC and deluxe resorts, including Swan, Dolphin and SoG.
I get why Disney is doing this, but I agree, should be a perk for all WDW Resort guests (like it was before), imo.It is unfortunate as we are staying at one if the budget resorts like in the past and were able to stay for extended hours then.
Why stay at a deluxe?I get why Disney is doing this, but I agree, should be a perk for all WDW Resort guests (like it was before), imo.
That, or “we need to introduce exclusive perks to our deluxe resort guests in lieu of premium service since we can’t even clean their rooms.”All resort guests used to receive nighttime (and morning) extra magic hours as a resort perk. Now only guests willing to pay the most money receive that perk. Money grubbing Disney magic.
Same reasons people stayed at deluxes before this (now exclusive) perk was implemented. Location, more spacious accomodations, nicer pools, theme, DVC members, etc.Why stay at a deluxe?
This is a positive for guests of deluxe resorts that pay the highest rates. Since most of the posts on this site have been critical, including mine, lately of Disney practices they deserve credit when credit is due. It certainly doesn't feel fair considering that previously all guests had a evening magic hour benefit, but the problem is that Disney Deluxe resorts other than location barely meet the definition of luxury. I think most on this forum agree with that position. Since Disney is not willing to up the luxury, they need to find another way to make it worth it for deluxe guests. Disney's biggest problem will be trying to cater to a luxury clientele that doesn't find any "value" in their resorts. Providing these "perks" is one way to provide that luxury benefit. That, or “we need to introduce exclusive perks to our deluxe resort guests in lieu of premium service since we can’t even clean their rooms.”
Because I can pay 250$ a night and get all the perks... Rent dvc points or stay swolfin on discounts and it's a win win with the budget and perks. Why stay at a deluxe?
