Ear Plugs

I've got a tip that took me almost 20 years to figure out!

I've always been extra sensitive to light and sound and as you know, WDW is like a light and sound mega-bash.
Of course, sunglasses are necessary our doors at all times help, even in some attractions, but some simple foam ear plugs are a must to help avoid headaches from loudness and other lovely sounds.
I brought them with us on our last trip and used them a few times. The attraction that I used them on that I was most thankful for was Lights, Motors, Action. It's SOOO unbelievable loud...the ear plugs REALLY helped! They helped me avoid a miserable headache that can easily screw a perfect day.

I recommend them to everyone!

DD and I both wear earplugs on Dinasaur (sp?) so our hands aren't over our ears in the picture they take!

We wear the earplugs for Dinosaur, too. That roar when they snap the picture is the loudest single sound I have ever heard. It rattles my brain and gives me a horrible headache. With earplugs I'm good to go!

I wore earplugs to a Nascar race once....I think I've got em saved, I'll have to bring them to WDW to drown out my snoring husband. I think I'll wear them to T-Rex too. Pretty loud place.

A pair of in-ear ear buds can do the same if they are inter-canal. That is what i do and you get a lot less weird looks from people. Plus if you do use them to listen to your music you can do so w/o disturbing others.
