Do they still take your name as you enter so E.T. can say at the end? Haven't been there in over 6years and last time E.T. was shut down (only reason we even go).

Last time I was there (Recent) it was working.

However I still want ET's homeworld and it's nightmarish creatures from the id to stop haunting my dreams.

()

Is it just me... or does anyone else think ET is a brilliant dark ride?

I know it's a kids ride but I just find it really immersive.

It's one of the best.

Enhh, The queue and Ride System? CRAZY AWESOME! The First part of the ride? Cool, but the Robots with duck tape shaking around could look more like...humans. The Second Part of the ride?

A dark and twisted carnival, of the soul.

GET OUT OF MY MIND CREEPY TREE BABY FACE TUMOR-TENTACLE MONSTER!!! AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

*Fires pistols wildly at the disturbing monsters, crying and screaming until the clip runs out, Horror-Movie style*

That's probably my favorite AA in the ride - so bizarre but cool at the same time!

ET to me is Universal's Pirates or Haunted Mansion - it's a big, grand, AA-heavy, family-friendly dark ride that's both unique and timeless in nature.

On the topic of the name-calling, on my trip two weeks ago they took names and ET said em all. :)

I feel left out, all three times I've been to Universal they've never taken my name and have it called out by the end of the ride. Oh well, maybe next time.

yes, they really should upgrade the humans, but I guess we should be happy that E.T. is still there at all, after USH's was replaced by the Mummy

It's also like Pirates to me... but because i'm not a fan of the associated movies but love the attraction. :p
