E.T Adventure ideas

I love E.T adventures, and was recently thinking how could it be brought into the modern day with a big refurb. However, I struggled to think of anything substantial. Im sure this will never happen, but if it did, how would that be done?

Really it just needs updated audio and animatronics/effects. Overall it's a solid foundation.

One could throw the walkie talkie and make a pretty serious black and blue bump on the skin. Remove them immediately!

I don't know about screens, but I'm sure the same methods used to make the current ride coherent would work on any new version. Before you ask, I'm not legally at liberty to describe the aforementioned methods.

You're right and trust me...I don't want a reboot to happen. There's been rumors of a Back to the Future reboot and that's just sin. Zemeckis said as long as he's alive it won't happen.

I know it's partially a joke. But there would be no reason for them to use screens. A large part of the reason they use screens on other rides is because there's so much going on, for an ET ride it wouldn't fit at all.

How come this ride is SO brilliant still all these years later???

I remember riding it at a very young age. I rode it last month. I love it.

My young nephew also loves it. His favourite ride. How crazy is that?!

In term of improvements, it needs to stay dark. Just spruce up the AA's and the audio, add a little extra to the already awesome queue. Keep the atmosphere.

The rumor I heard was that the entrance would be rerouted to be closer to Central Park, as the current entrance will be part of Nintendo Land. If they do keep it, (and I hope they do), it really could use an animatronic overhaul.
