Yes, it appears to be taken from the left of the bridge leading from the parking lots to the entrance or from the left parking lot area. Great reflection photo. Surprised the water is that still as there is an aeration fountain in that little pond. The fountain must have been off when this photo was taken.

Technically it's not. There is a card reader thing which requires a room key to open the doors from the 4th floor of CR (main concourse level). However, my last stay the doors were propped open most of the times and we went through without using our room key. It does have great views of both lakes. It also gets really windy up there since its open air. Feels great on a hot day.

In two stays at BLT, I've never seen the door to the walkway closed. It was even propped open at midnight the other day. I have needed to use my KTTW card to open the first-floor lobby door on occasion.
