Agreed, same goes when there is a change in policies, no explanations givenI believe there are two reasons an event like this would be cancelled:
I think the latter is more likely. And they rarely announce the reason why, it's usually only known due to people "In the know" letting the cat out of the bag.

You are assuming that they actually care about loyalty.When the DVC opened in the early 90's it was a more affordable way to visit the WDW, and stay on property on a regular basis, that's why our family joined it... when did it become a way to price-gouge the most loyal Disney fans?
