Dumbo Has Arrived (Again)

All of the components (parts) for Dumbo B are now backstage behind central shops, in the sheet metal yard... They are all wrapped in shipping foam sheeting for protection.. You can see through the padding a bit and everything looks GREAT! They are scheduled for installation shortly. So we'll be getting out 'duel' Dumbos VERY soon! :)

Good to hear! I'm assuming when the 2nd Dumbo opens the new que will also open the same day...any clue or guess on what date we might see it in action?

so this is a new dumbo? elephants and spinner to (more or less) match the one already open?

I missed which way this conversation went earlier..

These are actually the "original" dumbos. The one running currently is the "new" set. The "old" set was sent to be repainted/restored etc. to match.

It's important to note that the only thing from the original dumbo that is being using is the center hub and the chassis for the propulsion system.. Everything else is brand new.. it had to be to 'match' the new dumbo.

In this recent aerial shot we can see that they have begun working on the pad area directly in front of the train station.
