Now that is crazy. I wonder what the cap was at.
5,000. But who knows how many people signed up at the marathon, or pre-sale through the Visa or AP. They might have only had 1,000 spots to sell today.
The craziness over these races is how and why Disney can charge an arm and a leg for their races. Demand is always greater than the supply.

Only 5,000 Dumbo spaces when the half had 17,000 last year? That seems low, I wouldn't be surprised to see more spots open up. How many more people can Disneyland handle though with their space constraints?

It does seem low. Maybe the 10k has considerably less spaces than the half - which would explain the fact that the 10k is now at 85% according to their facebook update (still only reading 75% on the rundisney site). Or maybe people think they can sign up for both races and get the DDD medal anyways.

haha... just crazy enough. Yay! The sign up for the DDD and the 10k were insane. The site wasn't loading properly, I don't think they were ready for that amount of traffic.
