Dumbest Things Ever Said

When my sister went to WDW for an orchestra trip, she ended up having to ride Star Tours, when a bunch of cheerleaders got on and those cheerleaders screamed and screamed, to the point where you couldn't hear the audio. Other things seen were a person crossing (Father,Son, Holy Spirit)herself before riding Space Mountain, and crazy people standing on the peoplemover while cheering on the orchestra concert at the Tommorowland stage.

wow...the TTA bit is a bit dangerous, but I have been in the parks with cheerleaders before...I could hear their screams from the Tower of Terror from the Animation Tour!

What are the dumbest things you have ever heard guests or Cast Members say regarding Disney World--you know what I'm talking about. Stuff like
"Do they only offer Fast Track for the Fast Track ride at Epcot?" or
"What's your favorite theme park?" "Oh, I like Disney World the best...MGM is kewl too" or
"Is that tree real?" toward the Tree of Life (yes, Disney has been growing it for 10,000 years)

The worst I have heard was actually at Disneyland, the first time I was going on Matterhorn, I asked the CM to describe it:
Kyle: "Can you describe the Matterhorn (bobsleds) a bit for me?"
CM: "Well, it's a bobsled ride down the Matterhorn, which is that mountain right there"

Wow...to paraphrase Alex Trebek in Ellen's Energy Adventure, "I was looking for something more than an embellishment of the ride's name...and I'm at the entrance to the ride, I think I know where the Matterhorn is..."

What's the best (or worst) you've heard?! Don't any of you take this thread too seriously! It's all in good fun!

Not to be the one to spoil the fun here, but how many times do we need to do this thread? It seems like there is always one of these going, where everyone laughs about how dumb the other guests and / or CM's are.

It was kind of fun to read through it the first time, but I have a sneaking suspicion that some posters here use 'creative license :animwink: ' to out do the things that other people have heard. Just seems to me that after a few threads, we've heard about all the standard things, so to keep it exciting people embelish and we end up with all these outrageous tales.

Just an opinion though

During my CM days I had a guest on a cloudy over cast morning ask “So, their going to close the dome today aren’t they?” He was totally serious. He thought there was a dome over all of WDW to keep the rain out.

When EPCOT was in its developmental stages, it was to have a dome over it (the business part where the hotel was) which would keep all the rain and heat out. Maybe they had heard about it (if the person was an elder) and remembered that. They could have thought that Disney did really do it. That's my guess to back up that person, or else they were just really out of it and didn't know much. HAHA

As far as the crossing goes, I've been known to do that on an occasion...when my cousin and I were about to ride RnRC for the first time we did it because we were freaking out . My mom has also done it, but then again my mom does it whenever I'm gonna get behind the wheel and she's my passenger

*stands in front of Test Track*

Guests come up and stare at the building behind me. Keep in mind, we were closed for refurbishment... stare at the building for a bit... nothing going on... just a quiet building...

"Is this Canada?"

WOW i have laughed my head off at alot of these posts!!!!!    :sohappy: :D

Anyway here's somethings i have heard

IN line for Space Mountain:
KID: "does this go upside down?"
ADULT:"well, one side of it does, they split you up and it's just the luck of the draw"

Ok, i did correct them and almost got into an arguement, but finally convinced them that it did not go upside down.

Walking into Dinosaur:

DAD is holding an infant, probally 3-4 weeks old. and asks and i quote "Can i bring her on?"

Man is getting a FP for Thunder Mountain, he gets the ticket and starts screaming at the CM.

"NOW YOUR GONNA MAKE ME WAIT A FULL*&@#$^& HOUR WHEN I COULD HAVE WAITED 40 MIN. IN LINE!!!!"

CM:"no sir, you can go anywhere in the park

"AND THEN I"LL MISS THE RIDE!!!!"

Anyhow, i waited, (more like 20 min.) and he was still there at the FP machines, just sitting and waitng for his time! :brick: :brick:

AT THE FW BUS DEPOT

to cm in bus a man askes "what bus do i take to get to Islands of Adventure?" dead serious too. :brick:

That's what i can remember now, if i remember others, i'll post them tomorrow.

I love the story of the guy with the fastpass outside BTM. People just don't know how to use them. We were 5 minutes early for our time at BTM, so we just sat on the curb next to the entrance. In that five minutes I couldn't beleive the amount of people who walked up with "Not a valid fastpass". I think most of the people couldn't speak english but still, if they have an invalid fastpass it means they have at least one good one. You'd think they might be able to make the connection that something is wrong with the one that has no numbers and has a black background.

Exactly how is that one stupid? I still call it the WEDway People Mover. Unless you are in refrence to the "!" because I haven't heard anybody that excitied to get on the TTA.
I still call it the People Mover as well. I'm always excited to get on that ride. Whenever we enter Tomorrowland the first thing we have to do is ride the People Mover.

I haven't heard a ton of stupid stuff, but the worst was when we were standing in line for Space Mountain, there were pictures of planets and stars all around us, and the woman in front of us turns to her husband and says: "Isn't this the boat ride?"
