Dumbest Things Ever Said

While on the bus ride between parks, one guy was talking to another group of people and asked them, "you go on that Aerosmith coaster". But add a very deep southern drawl to it. To this day my wife and I still get a laugh out of that.

Or it could have been my father in law not understanding that Disney does NOT own Universal

I call the MK Disney World because when I first went the only park in Disney World was the MK!!

I think I might have to ask as many CMs as possible what time the 3:00 parade starts just to see the responses I get!!!

When you first went, Disney World was the Magic Kingdom Resorts, the TTC, the monorail, the Seven Seas Lagoon, Bay Lake, and the Magic Kingdom ;) The Magic Kingdom was always the Magic Kingdom, just like Disneyland (before it became a Resort) was the Disneyland Hotel, the parking lot, the monorail, and the Magic Kingdom ;)

Lighten up

Some of these things are funny but those of you who get "annoyed" about things that people say need to relax and stop taking yourself so seriously.

C'mon, gimme a break, I was 4 at the time!!! :)

Seriously, I know there was much more there at the time, we stayed in the Poly and rode the monorail each day. But the time we went, the place where my sister and I rode all the rides was Disney World! We were 5 and 4 repsectively and couldn't grasp at the concept of there being so many things in one area being connected.

LMAO!!!

These are great...especially...SplashTrash6863, ArchiDanDisney, mcbates23 and Kirsten's...those are TOO funny...

(people at work are staring at me now...)

I do recall this one time, while getting on the Monorail at MK...this family who was wondering when it would stop at the Wilderness Lodge...oh and the "do you get wet?" I heard this lady ask a Splash Mountain CM....

standing in line at Mrs. Pott's cupboard waiting for an ice cream; guy in front of me is at the window to order:

guy: what do you call those little yellow cuppy things?
CM: a cup?
guy: yeah, i'll have one of those

granted it was about 300º outside that day and my brain was a little fried as well!

Oh I feel the pain around here . For a couple of years now I've tried to get my friends to go with me to WDW but one very stubborn friend always says "We already went for Grad Nite" or "I went to Magic Kingdom and the hotel and DTD, that's good enough" or of course the ever popular "It's for kids". For spring break, my friend preferred Cancun (think "Girls Gone Wild") over Disney. Grr

OMG! I hate when people say that. My uncle always says "why are you going to Disney again? why don't you go somewhere else?" Because we don't want to! 2 years ago when I told my then boyfriend he was going to WDW with us he says "it's for kids but I'll go for you". He ended it loving it so much, our first day there he was planning a 2 week trip back. LOL *of course we never made it* But now I have plenty of room for Stitch. HeHe

"I can't wait to ride Terror Tower."

(At WDW) "Let's go on the PeopleMover!"

(After seriously reading the sign on the ice-cream cart with their finger) "I'll have a Mickey head one."
Ummmm... I will always call it PeopleMover because that's what it was called when I was growing up.

I think Grizz said it earlier. Regardless of wether it is called the TTA or the WEDway PeopleMover, the vehicles are PeopleMovers, and the system itself is the WEDway PeopleMover, so technically it can be called either the PeopleMover or the TTA.

Wow that put my reading skills to the test  .

I don't care if people think Universal is better, it gets me when they say WDW is just dumb, for kids, boring, nothing to do etc.

I didnt hear this while at WDW however I heard it through a friend (Sorry but I gotta use this one Meg!). A group of people where walking in MGM and when they came upon TOT a girl turned to the other girl and said.. "Wow sure glad that I didnt book this hotel.. the letters dont even all light up!" I hope I told the story right but anyways.. some people can just say the darndst (SP?) things!!!
The whole thing with Universal V.S. WDW... I'm not going to say if one's better than the other.. I know which is my fav and Universal doesnt even come close!

 That's one of the best ones I've heard. I would have figured the windows on the front of the tower opening and closing with a falling elevator inside would have been a subtle indication that it wasn't a hotel. :brick: :brick:
