Dumbest Things Ever Said

What are the dumbest things you have ever heard guests or Cast Members say regarding Disney World--you know what I'm talking about. Stuff like
"Do they only offer Fast Track for the Fast Track ride at Epcot?" or
"What's your favorite theme park?" "Oh, I like Disney World the best...MGM is kewl too" or
"Is that tree real?" toward the Tree of Life (yes, Disney has been growing it for 10,000 years)

The worst I have heard was actually at Disneyland, the first time I was going on Matterhorn, I asked the CM to describe it:
Kyle: "Can you describe the Matterhorn (bobsleds) a bit for me?"
CM: "Well, it's a bobsled ride down the Matterhorn, which is that mountain right there"

Wow...to paraphrase Alex Trebek in Ellen's Energy Adventure, "I was looking for something more than an embellishment of the ride's name...and I'm at the entrance to the ride, I think I know where the Matterhorn is..."

What's the best (or worst) you've heard?! Don't any of you take this thread too seriously! It's all in good fun!

From Cast Members
"I'm working at Disney. No, not MGM or Epcot. You know, the Disney one?"
"I am working [security] to let my friends in, sir."
"Cranium Command? Oh, this is some dumb kid's show."

(These should be considered seriously, if we are concerned with the casting situation).

Guests
"Let's go ride the big ball!"

And my WHOLE FAMILY calls Test Track "Fast Track." :brick:

And, oh, I just gotta think more. . .

I have never really heard a cm say anything stupid but i have had someone ask me "so where u going on vacation?" I reply "orlando and treasure island" The say "oh don't they have some rides there" I felt so bad she had never expierenced Disney thats gotta stink!

Many people: "(Insert Disney ride here) Isnt' that at Universal?"

Lady: "Let's go ride Aerosmith"

A friend of mine: "Pirates of the Caribbean is a dumb ride"

Many people I know: "Universal is better than Disney"

My favorite:
On Tom Sawyer Island near the raft launch
Wife: "Aren't you coming?"
Husband: "You go ahead, we (gestures towards son) are going to get off the island over the bridge"
Wife: "oh, okay"

GUEST:

"What time is the 3:00 parade?" is right up there at the top, but there is an explanation for what appears on its face to be the equivalent of "Who's buried in Grant's tomb?"

According to WDWPrincess03 (giving full credit here :animwink: ), what the guest really means when uttering that bit of foolishness is, "What time will the 3:00 parade reach this very point where I am standing?" which is admittedly not a stupid question at all. :)

CAST MEMBER: Sorry, cast members never ask stupid questions. :animwink:

In that case, the Cast Member should say, "Share a Dream Come True begins near Splash Mountain at 3:00 PM and ends on Main Street." If the CM says, "Uhh, at 3'o'clock?" they need BETTER TRAINING! :)

I've never heard anyone ask this, but I know it's a biggie.

Guests:

"I can't wait to ride Terror Tower."

(At WDW) "Let's go on the PeopleMover!"

(After seriously reading the sign on the ice-cream cart with their finger) "I'll have a Mickey head one."

Ooooh, I gots a good one, from when I worked Glow! :D This happened to one of my coworkers. Absolutely HILARIOUS.

It's just about 2 or 3 min after the fireworks start, and she's standing IN FRONT OF THE CASTLE. A guest comes up:
Guest: Excuse me, what time do the fireworks start?
CM: (listens to the VERY loud booms, and looks up at the fireworks) Um, about three minutes ago.
Guest: Oh... (dejected) So I missed them?
CM: (motions for the guest to turn around)
Guest: (spots the fireworks) Oh! Thank you! Oh, I'm so glad I didn't miss them.

I kid you not, this was a SERIOUS conversation! Either the lady was seriously stupid, or she deserves an Oscar.

Exactly how is that one stupid? I still call it the WEDway People Mover. Unless you are in refrence to the "!" because I haven't heard anybody that excitied to get on the TTA.

I still call TTA "the Peoplemover." Peoplemovers are the vehicles which run on the TTA, anyway. :lookaroun
Ugh... okay, okay!!! The person was frantically pointing to the ride in general, not bent down staring at the ride vehicle!
