Dumb Question

I have a question... I have been to WDW three times, but in the past have always driven by car. We are planning another trip in March and I am planning on flying this time (waste at least two "Magic" days by driving!)

Here's my question... the best flight for me on my departing day leaves at 7:00pm in the evening. What can I do with luggage from the time I have to check out to the time our flight leaves? We will have several hours and that is usually the time that we try and "hit" something that we didn't get to do or do again. etc.

Thanks for the help.

By the way, we will be staying at either the Pop Century or Port Orleans.

The last time we stayed on site we had a similar situation. We were able to leave our luggage with the front desk @ our hotel and they were more than happy to keep it for us. Our flight was @ 8 pm so we were able to do some last minute things and not worry about dragging our belongings all over the parks.

Andy's absolutely correct.

They will store your luggage. I'd just make sure that I give them ample time to retrieve it, so you won't be rushed for your flight.

Although you have to "check out" by 11AM, as far as I know you're still considered a guest until midnight. :) Your situation is very, very, common.

Since I'll be doing the same thing for the first time next week (yay!), I have a related question.

Can my key card still be used for charges, or will I have to use my real credit card? It doesn't really matter since it goes to the same place, but I was just wondering.

I THINK you can still charge to your room if they've run a credit card. You'll just get an updated final bill in the mail with the post-check out charges listed. I think I've done this in the past.

Pam

Thanks, Pam. I couldn't remember for sure, or it may be have been available in the past but not any longer. People DO have a tendency to forget how much they've charged until the bill arrives!

Your key card will work until 11:59 p.m. the last day printed on it. So if you have to check out at 11 but plan on staying all day you can still use it; you just won't have an itemized statement. I did this with my family and didn't have any problems. Have fun!
