What is the dumbest moment you have ever had at WDW... We all make jokes about people asking what time the 3:00 parade is but we have all done stuff like that.........

Mine would have to be the second time I ever went to WDW (I was like 21 or 22) me and my gf at the time were staying at the All Star Sports. So we were there for about 8 night or so and we had one of the end rooms....every day we would get up and walk down to the center where the elevator and stairs were and walk down then double back to get to the bus stop. This happened for about 6 or 7 of our nights.....then the last day we were there as we were walking we noticed that in the Coke cups at the end of the area we were staying were stairs.......we could have save like a few minutes each day that we could have been riding rides. We laughed about it for a while but the next time I went I made sure I didn't do that again.

My dumbest moment at Walt Disney World would have to be the time my wife and I were kayaking along the canals at Ft Wilderness and we saw an aligator on the shore. My wife (the smarter of the two of us) immediately started paddling her kayak away about as fast as if she had an outboard motor on it. I, on the other hand, thought it would be cool to paddle up to it and poke it with my paddle. I did this, thinking it would runoff into the forest. Instead, it went immediately into the water and right under my kayak. Since I'm not the "Crocodile Hunter", I was somewhat terrified. But luckily the aligator didn't reveal itself again. When we returned the kayaks and told the cast members what had happened, they just laughed and said, "Yeah, you probably shouldn't do that."

My dumbest moment at Disneyland was when I actually paid money to get into Disney's California Adventure! I felt pretty dumb and wished I'd done something more sensible with the money....like burned it!

My dumbest moment occured when I was at Epcot to meet mightyduck. For some strange reason, we had not really "described" each other, so I was hoping for a "hint." I went to the designated meeting area (which unfortunately had 2 sides, not visible to each other) and wandered around. There was a young lady seated there reading a book. Knowing that mighty teaches English literature, I went over and said "Mightyduck, what a great clue!" The strange woman on the bench looked at me like I was crazy....I had to do some quick explaning! :o (Which I'm sure made me seem EVEN crazier...."I'm looking for someone named mightyduck that I met on a Disney message board....riiight...)

I then moved quickly to the other side (out of sight) and sat quietly reading MY book (which I had brought as a "clue") A young lady next to me promptly said "Marcia, is that you?" :D

My dumb moment was on my honeymoon in 1991. We had length of stay type passes and used them to get inside Pleasure Island. Not really understanding how it all worked, we asked our server at the Fireworks Factory where we could buy tickets for the comedy club.
Well, she sold them to us. She sold us two tickets which were really for PI admission, not knowing that we entered the restaurant from the PI side. After dinner we went to the Comedy Warehouse and tried to hand them our tickets and the looked at us like we had three heads.
After they explained what we had done to us, we went back and got our money back for the tickets...we still joke about it now and how long ago it was when it was all new to us!

MY dumb moment came when my wife and I stayed at the Polynesian Resort.

We were given a room in a building that was farthest away from the Main building. (The Great Ceremonial House)

After a long day at the parks, I decided I wanted something to drink, so I took my Resort mug and walked to Captain Cooks.

On my way back to my room I realized that I didn't know the name of the building I was staying in. At night, all the paths and buildings at the Polynecian look pretty much the same.

I wandered around for almost half an hour looking for my room!!
I actually got LOST on Resort Property! :hammer:

If my wife hadn't finally stuck her head out of the building and yelled at me I might STILL be wandering around the place.

Sadly, my dumb experience was caught on tape by my own hands when it happened. I was at Epcot during the Millenium Celebration watching Reflections of Earth and we were watching from the porch of the Mitsukoshi Dining Room in Japan. I was filming the show...and it was during the opening "Chaos" sequence. I yell "Hey Look at the Sage of Time over there" and you see my fingers point at what I then thought was the sage of time. I found out when I watched the tape when I got home, it wasn't the sage of time, it was the Mexico Pavillion's Pyramid. Yeah, so now every time i watch it i slap myself in the forehead.

My husband and I visited WDW on our first wedding anniversary. We had visited the parks from sun up to past sun down for 5 days and were a little (ok alot) cranky and tired.:brick: To make a long story short we got into a huge fight over something very silly and both stormed off in different directions. We both went to different lands and by the time we had cooled off we couldn't find one another. I walked around for over two hours looking for my husband feeling stupid.:lookaroun The morale of our story is we should have taken the guide books advice for children (which we were acting like) to go back to our resort for a nap. We both learned valuable lessons--1.)Don't push too hard to do and see everything and 2.) never leave your significant other in a crowd of thousands of people and 3.)I hope my husband learned I am always right:animwink: ...just kidding:)

LMAO! And of course, I was sitting there thinking, "Duh! Why didn't I come up with a clue for how we can recognize each other?" And I'm sitting there and l look over at the woman next to me and I realize she's reading "Beauty and the Beast," and then I think, "What a great clue!"

Oh, and Mom, if you thought that was embarrassing, imagine me trying to check on a message from someone named "Jay-Rod" at guest relations and telling them to leave a message from mightyduck! LOL! That girl looked at me like I had lost my mind!

LOL!!! I did the same thing to some poor guy at the bookstore! I didn't actually kiss him on the mouth though-- he was squatting down looking in the foreign language section and I draped myself over him and asked, "Oh, are we learning Spanish now?" I'll never forget the look on his face as he turned his head to see who the h*ll I was. My REAL husband was just a few feet away watching in disbelief. He STILL teases me about it-- good thing for me he's not one of those jealous types.

*thinks REAL hard*

Well, there was this one time... I had just picked up this one family of 4 from the MK, and they were headed back to one of the All Stars... and I was driving down BVD, and I spaced out, and for some reason, I started to head to AK Lodge... As soon as I figured it out, I started apologising profusely to the guests... They just laughed... lol... It only ended up being an extra 5 minutes, and they didn't care... they just got a big kick out of it. :)
