They don't have all the stations D-Tunes does but there are people who are 500+ days out of their next WDW vaca...so things could be worse!

Plenty of options. But knowing what bandwidth costs, and any "licensing fees" some of the stations may pay, most run then as a labor of love and barely break even on the costs. So it's not at all unexpected to see some of them disappear for a few days while things get ironed out.

Looks like dtunes is gone for good. I have a feeling that the Mouse went after AndroidXS for something. Seems to have both impacted his website and his job as well. It's been awhile since I've been a regular listener (mostly because my office blocks all streaming media besides YouTube and Pandora), but we've been faithful listeners since about 2007.

Yeah, who knows what happened. I just know that I've experienced all the other Disney musice sites and Dtunes, IMHO, was the best out there.

Everyone,

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart, DTunes has come to an end.

To all those that have come to this once happy place, you will be greatly missed. What once was a small hobby grew into something that went well beyond what I could have possibly dreamed. Over the many years we've shared together, I've had the pleasure to meet so many amazing people and make friendships that I willalways treasure. I want to thank each and every one of you for your unwavering support and words of encouragement.

Unfortunately and without getting into too many personal details, due to the recent events surrounding the shutdown of DTunes, I have also been let go from my employer of over twelve years. Hopefully with the closing of this door, new doors will open, and I take with me the lessons learned from DTunes into the next phase of my life. I find a personal sense of satisfaction and pride knowing that in some way, DTunes has brought happiness and joy to people all over the world. If that's true, then it hasn't all been in vein. That is something I can say I am proud to have achieved and nothing can take that away from me.
