Epcot is currently holding its 20th annual Food & Wine Festival which brings in even more people than usual to Walt Disney World. They enjoy rare food and drinks from around the world while also having a really good time. Well, one guest ended up enjoying it too much, as a drunk man decided to climb the outside of the Mexico pavilion in Epcot‘s World Showcase last night.

Yes, he actually started climbing the outside of the pavilion and, not surprisingly, someone caught it on camera.

Collins Race was one of the first to get the video out there, and it’s beginning to make the rounds. The unidentified man was at Epcot on Monday night and apparently enjoying the food and wine that the festival has to offer.

That was when he departed from his friends and decided to try climbing the outside of the Mayan Temple in the Mexico pavilion.

As you can see, that’s no small feat either, as it is incredibly high, and those steps are, indeed, very steep. The pavilion houses one restaurant, which is called San Angel Inn Restaurante, an attraction called the Gran Fiesta Tour starring The Three Caballeros, and and shopping area called Plaza de Los Amigos.

The outside of the Mexico pavilion at Epcot is only for show, and there are entrances to the inside portion in the front and on the side. There is nothing at the top of the Mayan Temple for guests to see or experience.

A conversation on Reddit has a lot of people wondering what may have actually happened to the drunk man, since the video doesn’t show a whole lot before it ends. Some talk is happening on social media and in different Disney Facebook groups that he was escorted out of Epcot by security, but not much more is known.

It’s believed that he will likely end up being banned from Walt Disney World for life, but that is not yet confirmed.

The Inquisitr reported back in September that a male guest ended up being banned from Walt Disney World for life after joking about a meth lab. David Swindler was with his family at Disney’s Pop Century Resort and waiting at the front desk for some help.

While waiting to see if he could his family’s trip extended by a day or two, Swindler became frustrated with the Disney Cast Member who was helping him. That was when he chose to do the wrong thing, and he even now knows that it was a regretful decision.

Swindler joked that he could build a meth lab faster than anyone at Disney could help him. No-one found it funny.

During the middle of the night, Orange County Sheriff’s deputies and Disney security swarmed into the family’s hotel room and searched for a meth lab, but nothing was found. Swindler’s family is allowed back at Walt Disney World, but he received a “trespass warning,” which banned him from all Disney properties for life.

It’s thought that a similar type of punishment may be coming the way of the drunk man at Epcot’s Food & Wine Festival. This is the 20th year of the festival, which adds extra food stations and even has alcoholic beverage demonstrations, for over two months.

Right now, it’s up in the air as to what is going to happen to the drunk man who climbed up the Mexico pavilion in Epcot. Walt Disney World or any Disney representative has not yet issued a statement of any kind, and it’s not exactly known what happened to the guest. Chances are though, his night at Epcot ended shortly after he got down.

This ends up happening a few times a year and often during F&W at least once. Kind of surprised it took this far into F&W for it to have happened, maybe it did earlier and just no one caught it on camera?

It's always entertaining to me. It's generally someone that's fairly drunk but I only know of one person that "fell" and that was after about 4 steps up.

The gentleman who was banned for making a Meth Lab joke was not banned for that, rather he was banned for his interactions and demeanor while dealing with security.

As for this chuckleduck? Yeah, he'll be lucky if he wasnt arrested.

What did he do to security? We all knew there was more to the story than him making a dumb joke.

Agreed. Especially after the videos he posted about being upset. He still seemed like a grumpy jerk and I'm sure he was putting on his nice side. He even said he had recorded video of tbem being kicked out, but I never saw any footage of it.
