Driver Responsible for the Death of an International WDW CM arrested

As someone about to enter the college program this gives me the reminder to always be aware of my surroundings and to not cross if I see someone driving erratically or too fast when a light is red.
My heart goes out to the family of the ICP and to the entire Disney family. A young life was lost and the person who did it didn't even care enough to stop and look. You can tell the difference between hitting a person and hitting an animal. Also looking at the pictures of the damaged car you can tell this poor girl hit the windshield so the woman who hit her knew exactly what she had done. I hope she is given the strictest punishment under the law. If you truly hit someone on accident you don't flee, ditch the car, and then wait until the morning to contact police. You stop, get out of your car, call 911 and stay with that person as long as you can. I find it interesting that she was staying at a luxury hotel in Orlando on what appears to be a business trip. I'm sure her company is happy to know they hired a monster who killed someone on their dime.

I'm sorry, but it's hard to give such sympathy to someone who left the scene of the accident and a fellow human being to die. Many of us have driven unfamiliar vehicles in unfamiliar areas...many times. But that gives this woman absoultely no excuse. I'm not saying the alleged driver hit the victim on purpose, or out of any reasons sinister. But as soon as she left the scene she became a criminal and lost any reason to have our sympathy.

I know the intersection extremely well, and have first hand accounts. It's not a tough intersection, she was going straight and screamed through a red light.

I can't believe the woman already paid her $20,000 bond. She must be some rich woman who had too much to drink and didn't think to take a taxi home in the first place before she got behind the staring wheel.

This is exactly what I'm talking about. We have limited information, but everyone is diving over themselves to be the first to demonize and judge. "Must be some sub-human drunk, rich ______________!" (And there are a whole host of ways to clear a $20,000 bond.)
It's entirely possible, even probable, that she was drunk and/or is a remorseless monster of a human being. But none of us know that. All we know are bits and pieces of the story. Let the facts come out and she will sit before a judge and the justice system will decide her fate.
