When we went to Canada for the youngest BiL's wedding years back the hubby ordered a DP at a restaurant. The waitress apologized for not having that then offered root beer. We were all totally speechless. :p
That's not as bad as going to a restaurant, asking for Dr. Pepper and having the server offer you Mr. Pibb instead. Really?? Mr. Pibb? Dude didn't even get his degree!

Don't need to keep most items very cold since ice is available from the drink locations and we had our room attendant keep our ice bucket filled. Anytime we wanted a cool drink. Voila, instant cold. Refrigerators helped.

if we can bring our own drinks, that would be such a savings. Wonderful!

Looks we can. We plan on bringing ours but the one thing that bothers me is that i'll have to carry a extra heavy backpack we me. But I guess that's the cost of having your favorite drink. ;)
