Dreamfinder sends a letter to Orange Bird

I'm pretty sure this is just someone's attempt to do something ostensibly amusing and provocative using the persona of a Disney character -- the author of the accompanying article is "a college student focusing on Creative Writing and Media Studies."

From the foot notes:

"Blake is a college student focusing on Creative Writing and Media Studies."

Just a little bit fun by a guest writer.
Exactly... sometimes you gotta read the fine print, or in this case, the text that is exactly the same size as the rest of the article but just in italics. :D

Very interesting. I'd be shocked... no, stunned... no, absolutely & completely "mind-blown" if anything like this came from the same people who run TDO currently. The creativy in it is just not likened to anything I've seen or heard come from them in a long time.

That being said, if this is some kind of one-person intiative to try & catch Disney's attention, then may God, The Force, & the aliens be with him. (And I'm talking about the gray aliens, not the blue ones who are, ironically, homeless once again.)

That implies Dreamfinder left Figment behind with Mr. "People don't have imaginations unless we stimulate them with crappy effects" willingly.

I know, I know I am being way too optimistic here (yes i did read the fine print or the print that was the same size but just in italics), but if you consider what Marty Sklar said in his speech at Epcot's 30th and this together? Is there something going on? To very small bits of information/events that just for a nanosecond seem timed correctly. I suspect if something else comes out about the future of Future World then there might be some meat behind this. I am looking through goggles on this one aren't I?

This would be a great additon to Adventureland.
It would be fun to have the Orange Bird back out around the ol' place...

Why? Orange Bird was really just an advertising logo for Florida Citrus. Not even a Disney character.

And at the risk of sounding too negative we must remember that all those really creative folks that gave us SSE, Horizons, World of Motion and Journey into Imagination are either dead or at the very least retired. No one seems to have that creative ability anymore. Anything you can't attach a roller coaster too, is just to difficult to figure out.

Let's face it they have got to do something with the Imagination Pavilion. The current state is an enormous waste of valuable real estate. The time has come to recreate it's original glory, but without Dreamfinder and Figment as a team...don't even bother. There also must be a new 3D adventure that can fit in place of Captain Eeewwww! Surely they can fix the upstairs as well. With updated AA's they can easily recreate at least the beginning of Imagination...that would be spectacular. The rest of the ride could use just a little better than what it was before. Even HISTA was better then Captain E. Good grief one of the very first things ever replaced in Epcot was that film. It wasn't a draw back then and only the fact that MJ is dead brings people in now, but that won't last forever.
