I dunno if any1 posted this yet, and i dunno if any1 cares, but just thought id let u all know that the Dreamfinder blimp auction ended today at $625. Doesnt seem a lot until u think about the shipping costs.

You know whats really funny about this....back when I used to care about e-bay (before i figured out everything on there is pure crap)...we used to complain about how people would rip you off on shipping to compensate for a low paying "auction"...
...does anyone else think Disney is guilty of this now too??...
They really got taken for a ride on this one....that thing had to cost more than 700 bucks to make in the first place...especially since they are all HAND MADE...I think they would of had more luck seeling this sucker OFF e-bay and at a REAL auction instead....o well...

I am actually glad that Figment didn't come sent with it. I think it is "wrong" to own Audio Animatronics figures that were once enjoyed by everyone...as much as I'd like to own one!!
Not EVERYTHING on Ebay is "crap"...they had some pretty cool stuff taken from Horizons...

I do have LOADS of Horizons stuff - coasters, mugs, towels, the Horizons Magazine series, liscence plates, commerative pins, buttons, the opening day "tickets"...Horizons "pixie dust", cards, posters, books, napkins, coffee stirrers...all kinds of stuff...and I have ONE thing that came from the ride... but, in the words of NowInc..."If I tell you, I'd have to Kill You"...:lol: LOL

BTW....I got none of this or anything above off EBAY...but by an Imagineer who worked at Horizons since its opening.

I obtained most of what I own from Imagineers, as well as personal auctions, personal sales, and from some of the "odd jobs" i have done in my persuit of a certain career....
As I am sure many people can agree..being a "local" makes collecting a LOT easier...and it all depends on who you know.
Also...it was by far NOT cheap..it takes a lot of cash to get your hands on some "good" collectors stuff...so if you decide on giving it a try..be prepared to live a little "cheaper" for a while
