I tried to get the discount... I currently have a Dream maker package with the romance option and a dream maker package with the platnum option.

But I was told that this discount would NOT work for either of those packages, just the dream maker alone with no add ons... Is this true. ? Please let me know thanks

I had the standard Dream Maker Package and it worked for that.

I called Disney last nite with this code. They were ready to accept it, until he realized that my reservations were for July 20-26. This code, according the the person I spoke to last night is for April 27 thru July 3.

Give a try, if yall have reservations during that time. He was more than happy to apply it. It was just not gonna work out for me this time.

Yes this is true. The discount is only for the basic dream maker package.
