Hey was anyone else there when the Dream Along with Mickey 10:15 show stopped in the middle due to technical difficulties? I stopped taping and didn't get the message the announcer said, does anyone have that on tape?

It was shortly after Mickey came out and Donald said "Mickey, what's the surprise?" that the instrumental music started playing and the announcer said "We are unable to continue tonight's performance of DAWM"...What's funny was until the announcer started to say that, I didnt really realize what was happening...they blended it pretty well, but I'd still love to know what happened!

Sometimes it's because one of the important cast members is missing.

Something like that happened to me on my first day of my second trip. Only it was after the dancing princes and princesses. And it was in the daytime.

I've seen it happen when there was literally one more line left in the final song and it started to lightly rain. The music went down, the performers froze, they made the announcement and then they all high-tailed it out of there. I wish I had been taping - it was hilarious!

The best part is that even though they couldn't finish the show, they still needed to set of the fireworks, which they did a few minutes later with no warning. Made every little kid in that area shriek with fright.

I wonder why the rain is such a big deal. Maybe it's a safety hazard or something.

I know also that if lightning is reported in the area they have to stop the shows, as well as some of the rides. Maybe that's why they just suddenly stopped, there may have been a storm in the "area" and they didn't want to take any chances.

It happens ALL the time. Sometime a few times a day. It could be weather related. It could be a mechanical issue with one of the costumes. It could be any number of reasons. Sometimes, they know long ahead of time and they will do a quick dance with all the characters on stage at once and then they will send everyone down to the Castle forecourt for a meet and greet. Photos only, no autographs...as far as I know, which isn't much.
