They do...well sort of. It is called Disney Quest.

 I was thinking the same thing!

It's true, there are some great dining places in DTD Disneyland. I love the Tortilla Joes.

We love Disneyquest, I'd hate for it to close. We also make a point to eat at the Cheesecake Factory express there. They have some things Cheesecake Factory does not. But they both carry the most delicious chocolate cake I've ever eaten, so if DQ was to close, I'd need a Cheesecake Factory to open there so I could indulge!

I agree with the Steakhouse. To get a decent steak in Disney, you gotta go to Le Cellier.

What about Shula's at the Dolphin? I haven't been, so I'm not sure on quality.

As far as new restaurants, what WDW could use (in fact what Central Florida could use) is a really good Mexican restaurant. Maybe something that combines Southwestern, authentic Mexican and Tex-Mex dishes in one place.:slurp:

Shula's is supposed to be very very good. I have heard nothing but great tings although I have not been. There is one not too far from me so maybe I will have to go. I am assuming this is the same as Don Shula's yes?

Charlie's is already on 192.

Why not a TGI Fridays or maybe Applebee's ?

Although not obviously on the property this are already too popular and I believe there is a Fridays just outside DTD.

I would also like a nice steak house or chinesse place. Outback has a great concept called Paul Lee's that is very good. Althoughnot too popular yet there are only a couple resturants in the country (I think 4 total), maybe DTD would be an idea for them..... I will have to say something.

I will all but guarantee you no fairly large chain will come into DTD ever. First off, the price they would pay to "lease" that space would be astronomical overhead for these companies. Furthermore, when they can go just down the street for half that, they would not opt to share profits. DTD will pull, if anything non-Disney, only the largest specialty chains that come only to "destination" locations (Rainforest, Hard Rock, etc.). I do think, though, that some high end eateries OR high end chefs might seek out DTD. I could certainly see a Southern restaurant surviving (ala Paula Deen) or another chain (Provided Wolfgang Puck doesn't have preventative clauses in there about things like that). I do think a nice, upscale place would be great. I also agree that an upscale Asian place would be a great addition. I also would love to see a Martini bar-type place come in since Jazz Club is no more. There are a lot of opportunities with the right partnerships, but that involves deep pockets and deep prices (usually).
