Hi, everyone! I am relatively new to the boards, but I had to share my exciting news. On a recent vacation to Disney, my then-boyfriend proposed. I knew a proposal was coming, but he really shocked me! On 1/5/10, he and I and two of my close friends went shopping at Downtown Disney. Originally, he was going to propose by the leaping fountains, but they weren't operating due to the cold. His next idea was to propose on Characters in Flight......but it was windy so it was docked. He improvised quite well, however. He asked me to take a picture with him by the color-changing fountain near Planet Hollywood. I headed over and he motioned for my friends. I turned to see where they were, turned back, and he was down on one knee. I said YES and now we are planning a 2012 wedding with some Disney details, or should I say "Hidden Mickeys?"

Congrats on your great news. I'm recently engaged too! I got engaged after Wishes in the Magic Kingdom! Happy planning, i'm currently trying to plan a Disney Wedding too! It's all so exciting, i can't wait! x
