Doors on trams!

Having tram doors would definitely slow things down...Once your on, waiting for them to close the doors then waiting for them to open once the tram stops....It's fine the way it is!!

I can see that. I'm always so glad for Disney resort buses when I see the trams.

It does sound like if they change the trams to having doors... It would slow things down considerably. But I can understand the reasoning behind it. I've seen, many times, guests hop off the tram whenever they felt like it, only to be yelled at by a cast member. It's just another way for Disney to cover themselves in the event of a stupid person getting hurt :brick:

They should just get rid of the trams and install people movers. They're more environmentally friendly and more efficient. The only downside is they're not really ADA compliant, but I'm sure the people at WDI can figure a way around that.

As with Universal Studios and Disneyland; Walt Disney World could develop an multilevel parking structure.

Think of the advantages, no trams at all an it free ups land for quick and easy development.

I know only a fraction of the land in Disney World is developed but remember central Florida is a swamp and I am sure reclaiming land for development is not cheap. You would have plenty of room for a new gate, and of maybe a hotel or two.

It would be between the transportation and ticket center and Epcot, so guess what you would not need to build a Monorail you could use the existing Monorail.

Transportation is not cheap and to build something on existing Magic Kingdom parking land reduces the transportation burden drastically.

All those parking lots are and eye sore and if serves a proof they Disney is not a friend of the environment.
