Door Decor

Hey Gang, I noticed on some pictures that cabin doors are decorated with various things. Are they metal and therefore magnetic? What would you put on there? Would I put bike stuff on there or Clemson Tiger paw prints to show what we are about? Just curious. Thanks in advance.

You can put anything you want as long as it's got a magnet affixed to it and it's kid-friendly in theme/appearance. You can't tape or use any other sort of adhesive that might risk leaving any residue on a door. That infraction can earn you a damage fine. Also, think about what you put on your door. Don't put anything out there that would really hack you off if it "walked off". That happens. Hasn't happened to me but I've heard of it. A lot of people put their family name or first names in the graphics so they have virtually no value to others unless they happen to have the same name as you.

Surprisingly, decorating our door was one of favorite cruise traditions to take part of. I was so happy that I knew about it ahead of time. My husband bought a bunch of pirate themed magnets. We had our names, a picture of our dog (no kids for us, just our precious little fur baby) and of course the awesome Mickey ears that Tammy sent us. I say pick some "themes" that you love and have a blast. Be as creative as you want. It really is fun walking down the hall seeing all the individual decorations.

I wonder what the people on the Carnival Triumph decorated their doors with considering they had plenty of sewage on hand in the hallways?! No I didn't!
