Dooney and Bourke

My wife and I are going to Disney for the 4th of July. But before that, her birthday is coming up next month. She really wants a Dooney and Bourke Disney purse. All of the patterns are different variations of the same design. I was thinking about waiting until we went on our trip so that she could pick the one she liked most. My only concern is that it will not be available at the parks when we get there. Are these designs at the parks right now? Any thoughts on their longevity there?

I can't tell you if the design is there or not, but what I can say is I bought mine a couple years back and the last time I was there, they still had the design and the bag three years after. And if I am not mistaken this is a fairly new pattern so I would say your chances of it still being there are pretty high

Yes i believe it is still there. You can call the World of Disney store at downtown and thay can do an item surch for you, just have the style number of the bag your looking for.

They had the retro designs available in January...I definitely remember seeing them at MouseGear in Epcot and World of Disney/TrenD in Downtown Disney. They also had them in (I think) Uptown Jewelers in Magic Kingdom...whatever the store is on Main Street USA.

Make sure you ask if any discounts can be applied toward the bag in case you are an AP Holder or a Disney Visa holder. They may not apply to the D&B bags anymore (there are very rarely any discounts for the bags on DisneyStore.com nowadays) but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Thanks for clarifying. It's under the "Spend $50, get 20% off" thing, right? Sadly it's been awhile since I've bought a Disney D&B so I wasn't sure if the discount still worked on them. They have DEFINITELY been phasing the D&B discounts out on the website though...(i.e. D&B doesn't qualify toward the "spend $75, get free shipping" deal anymore.)

I thought it was just the regular discount. If it was some kind of special, they didn't tell me. They just tell me the two different tools. I don't save the receipts. I don't even pay that much attention to the price. I just know I was able to use my AP for a discount each time I bought one.

They are! You need to find the one that makes your heart sing. Sometimes that requires multiple stores.
