Has anyone noticed that Donald doesn't seem to appear too often in the parks and stuff. Do you think this is because the 'donald suit' looks a wee bit weird.I mean, the 'rear end' doesn't look right? Anyone know what i mean?

Well, Donald has appeared in more disney cartoons than any other character...so his popularity in the parks may be delebrate to help "assure" people that Mickey is still the top mascot.

Of course...this could all just be bad timing on yuor part...since I have seen Donald many times around toontown...

Why not, ducks are cool. I was quite surprised to see him in the british adverts for disney studios paris. He steals the show!

Don't you think he looks a bit weird though?

Well..I happen to think ducks are adorable ;)

He is one of their strongest characters, but you see him MUCH more than you see..say...goofy or even Minnie...

I don't think you do, but I'm sure you've spent a lot more time in WDW than i have so....

On another note, I used to keep ducks. Strange but true.

There is a simple reason that you do not see Donald as much as the other characters is because of the height requirement. The person playing Donald is very small and it is hard for Donald to be cast for that reason.

With all the entertainment cuts as of late, that would be even harder to find, Disney almost needs the same person to play Mickey and Minnie at the same time.

I've seen Donald a good bit. He was always in MGM more than any other park I think. I also see Goofy a bunch. Donald just isn't at as many dining locations as the other main characters.


Donald does look bad. That tail does stick out some. Personally, I think he is one of the worst looking characters along with Daisy.

I believe Donald's max height is 5'1" or 5'2". One of my friends was a character. She got to play almost all shorter characters including Donald. Her neck got strained by having kids pull on Donald's beak. She got put on light duty for 3 weeks. Having tiny cast members is a problem with injuries and being able to support the suit.

Seriously though, I have only seen Donald a few times, which is a shame, coz I thinks he's great!

I think Donald is okay...I found him and Daisy in WS.
